Dorkington Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Once again, the Federal Government is overreaching, and threatening local governments for enacting laws voted on by the people. http://www.washingtonpost.com/local/dc-politics/house-republicans-warn-dc-mayor-not-to-legalize-pot/2015/02/25/2f784a10-bcb0-11e4-bdfa-b8e8f594e6ee_story.html
\GoBillsInDallas/ Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 After reading the article, what scares me is that there is actually something called the "Federal Anti-Deficiency Act".
Fingon Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 Big government republicans will save us all from that dastardly devil's weed.
/dev/null Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 If the Federal Government should not interfere in State or Local matters such as this, why did the Federal Government sue the state of Arizona over state Immigration Laws? Why does the Administration interfere with individual state amendments banning same sex marriage?

Why does the Administration interfere with individual state amendments banning same sex marriage? The Feds saw what AZ was doing as uncontitional.and the courts agreed. The Feds are not the plaintiff in same sex marriage cases.
3rdnlng Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 The Feds saw what AZ was doing as uncontitional.and the courts agreed. The Feds are not the plaintiff in same sex marriage cases. Tell me, if it was unconstitutional for Arizona to enforce federal law, then why isn't it unconstitutional for the federal government to ignore federal law? Doesn't this, or any administration have a duty to not only follow, but uphold laws duly enacted by our legislative and executive branches?
