Shoto Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 Wow...now they can be called the "Orange"...but not "Orangemen" it's not PC
sodbuster Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 Can't wait to see what Mike Polk has to say about this.
Beef Jerky Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 I hope Cleveland bombs this years draft also
17 Josh Allen Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 I don't see a logo at all. just a very orange helmet what a waste of time. Did the owner ask a homeless bum his opinion on this decision too LOL. maybe having a real logo might spur merchandise sales but with this owner nothing is really possible I feel bad for the great fans of Cleveland that there stuck with this idiot
Nanker Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 CB Should use those initials and squash them into the shape of a foosball. Deys gots no immagination.
dhg Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 Uh. OK. I am sure Browns fans are flocking to buy new merchandise tonight.
vincec Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 I like the old color better, for what it's worth.
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Uh. OK. I am sure Browns fans are flocking to buy new merchandise tonight. Good luck to them sorting the new and the old
Mr. WEO Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Good for them, all they need now is a new owner, FO, and HC and they will be all set...
YoloinOhio Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Leave it to the Browns to overpay a logo designer to simply swap out their printer with better ink cartridges I would however like to see the chargers commit to going back to their powder blues. That would be worth the buildup.
NoSaint Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Wasn't a condition of the sale that the helmets remained, essentially, the same? Or something similar to that? They say the uniform will be slightly more noticeable.
FluffHead Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Sources say the Bills are following the Browns lead on this new trend
sodbuster Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Good for them, all they need now is a new owner, FO, and HC and they will be all set...OR... They could all just dye their hair, hit up the tanning salon and then *boom* good as new.I like the old color better, for what it's worth.yeah. The new one is too much like the Bengals now.
Fadingpain Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 (edited) People actually get paid to come up with stuff like this: http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/browns-reveal-new-logo-old-logo-article-1.2127288 Try to lighten up and come at this from the perspective an actual professional graphic designer. What do you have to work with exactly? The team is named after a boring, common surname, which is evocative of one of the least stylish and most ugly colors on the entire spectrum. You take it from there. What do YOU come up with? I know, it's a lot easier to attack others than shine a light on your own talent, or lack thereof. Edited February 25, 2015 by Stopthepain
eball Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 "Orange reflects passion" -- said no one, ever
Saxum Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Why are they just not called the Cleveland Oranges? No Orange trees do not grow in Cleveland but there are plenty of other mismatches. Or just made the helmet brown?
