Alaska Darin Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 PI should definitely be reviewable as much yardage a team can get from it. Defensive PI gets what? 30, 40, 50 yards? Offensive PI gets 10, should be 10 and loss of down No way. DBs would be hauling guys down all over the place, especially with the game on the line.
Dragonborn10 Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 Either change the PI rule to a 15 yard automatic first down or start reviewing them. A PI call can be just as game changing as a turnover. And agree The truth hurts. Change illegal contact to a spot foul up to a max of 15 yards - not an automatic first down. Third and 20 should not be a first down on penalty due to a WR being hit 7 yards into the pattern.

Buffalo_Stampede Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 Looks like 15 yard PI is a real possibility. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000473782/article/nfl-vp-changing-pi-to-15yard-penalty-is-a-possibility?campaign=Twitter_atn
