See this is a legit reason not to bring him in.......I can buy this

But because Mark Sanchez has had a couple of embarrising plays? Come on man.

a couple?

did you see the Bloopers? This is only up to 2012.

his passer rating never exceeded 80 in NY and even with a QBR of 88.4 in Philly he's still not their best option.

he lost a total of 20 LOST fumbles in NY with back to back 8 lost fumble seasons and he had 3 lost fumbles in Philly (tied with Orton is 14)

any QB will have there blooper reel. Jay Cutler has a long blooper reel. I am not saying he is Jim Kelly, but someone has to fill the roster spot. And all these idiots with pipe dreams of Peyton Manning or some other Big star are fooling themselves. Sanchez took his team to two consecutive AFC Championship games, won road games on the road in the playoffs, what other free agent can say that?

while that may be true.. as funny as some of these?

Any other FA QB would give EJ more competition then Sanchez. Saying you want Sanchez is like saying you don't want a QB competition...

That's a bit strong. If Sanchez can't beat out EJ, somethings incredibly wrong with Sanchez.

duh!!!!

Shankchez was never GOOD. HE was adequite with a top rated Defense that was able to defeat the Putrids at the right time

It's generally for people who actually, you know, support the team, yeah.

So if I don't dump on the Pats over ball pressure, that means I don't support the Bills?

Pretty simplistic thinking from you, RBJ. I hope it doesn't represent all the "real Buffalo Joe's" level of thought.

Once again

I am not defending the bad things Mark Sanchez has done over the years......some of them were rather pathetic.....

BUT

There are no good options this year.....that player simply is not out there. And we CAN NOT go into the season with EJ Manual the unchallenged starter on this team.

Sanchez when he was with Ryan the first go around was in fact the QB of the team that went to two consecutive AFC Champsionship games....in order to do that you have the have

- Winning seasons

- The QB cannot suck or be average most of the time no matter how good his defense is

- Make key plays at key times

What QBs are available on the market that fit that description?

none IMO.

but there are plenty, ok a few, no, maybe 6 to 12 here that say EJ hasn't a chance whatsoever and say that there is a guy out there

In their first run to the AFC Championship game, Sanchez completed 53.8% of his passes for 12 tds, 20 ints, and a QB rating of 63. People were calling Manuel a bust after a rookie season of 58.8%, 11 tds, 9 ints, and a qb rating of 77.7.

We need to stop this myth that Sanchez "led" the JEts anywhere. You put almost any other QB on that team and they might sleep walk to the SB. That fact that Ryan almost went to a SB with Sanchez shows how great of a coach he can be. Mark Sanchez would have been hands down the worst QB to ever play in a SB.
