I know that Mark has his issues, but check out these post season stats,

2009 60.3%comp 539 yards 7.93 AVG 4 TD's 2 INT's

2010 60.7%comp 616 yards 6.92 AVG 5 TD's 1 INT's

I think he would be the right fit for competition for QB.

Better than any Bills post season stats in the past 15 years.

Check out these numbers: 56.3%, 82 tds, 80 ints, 50 fumbles, 74.1 career QB rating.

Sanchez looked as good as he could possibly look under Chip Kelly. It will not get any better. Turnovers murder teams.

That said, I'd be willing to bring for the competition but I worried Rex would slant it to favor Sanchez. That would be a mistake IMO. I don't think there is much upside to Sanchez. He is what he is.

Every QB has had there Boo-Boos. Cannot judge a player with one mistake. Jim Kelly made mistakes. It's not if you make mistakes, it's what you do afterwards.

That makes it worse for Sanchez then b.c he hasn't done anything after heh.

Nah, the Bills haven't thrown a single INT or fumbled the past 15 years in the postseason ;)

He makes as many mistakes as any QB in the league. He loves turnovers.

Always been my #1 choice of the available candidates because a) he's proven he can win in a ground and pound, defense oriented program, and b) he won't cost an arm and a leg

He didn't win. He was carried by the other Jets. They won inspite of him.

Its not true, you saw his playoff stats. And the team got progressively worse without him, while the defense continued to play at high level

It's one play.

it's a symbol of the unceremonious fall of the Jets franchise from AFC contender to the laughing stock of the NFL. putting him back with Rex just brings up too many bad memories.

having said that, Sanchez is better than Hoyer, McCown, or any other of the free agent QB's imo. but I would much rather swing a trade for a Bradford or Foles. both look like they will be available (for the right price)
