dpberr Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 If this were a logical problem with a logical solution, then yes, he'd just stay in Minnesota. For ego-laden star athletes however, it's all about "respect." However one wishes to define it.
Canadian Bills Fan Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 I could totally see this being a "Rex" move Similar to when he signed LT with the Jets CBF
C.Biscuit97 Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 I used to really like Peterson. The more I heard about him, the less likable he becomes.
YoloinOhio Posted February 26, 2015 Author Posted February 26, 2015 Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter 1m1 minute ago Judge Doty has overturned Adrian Peterson decision and Peterson now will be reinstated, per source.
Bills Fan in MD Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter 1m1 minute ago Judge Doty has overturned Adrian Peterson decision and Peterson now will be reinstated, per source. So does that mean that he didn't miss a single paycheck and was essentially on a paid suspension the entire time?
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 yup RB Peterson reinstated after judge's decision
Mr. WEO Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 No. he got run out of town by uninformed people who didn't think he was community material Buddy Nix was "those people".
Formerly Allan in MD Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 If they are serious about running the ball they should do this. Offer a second rounder right now. A off season of AP, Hughes, Incognito, and another Guard.could make this team a true contender. Also the Vikes might like the idea of trading him to Buffalo and not Dallas. Keeps him out of the NFC and "punishes" him with a less then Markey destination Wouldn't get too excited. We still don't have a truly effective quarterback.
negativo Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Reading the thread title, I figured the Associated Press wanted an NFL team and the league was reinstating their request.
KD in CA Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 He's going to "switch" teams? No $10MM running backs please. I used to really like Peterson. The more I heard about him, the less likable he becomes. I recall he got in a fight with some cops at a bar a year or two ago and oh brother how the cavalry rode to his defense, telling us how Saint Adrian could do no wrong and how jealous cops started the whole thing!

YoloinOhio Posted February 26, 2015 Author Posted February 26, 2015 Is every Roger decision eventually overturned or does it just seem like it
YoloinOhio Posted February 26, 2015 Author Posted February 26, 2015 Good lawd @JasonLaCanfora: NFL announces it is appealing Judge Doty's decision and Adrian Peterson remains on the Suspended- Commissioner's Exempt List.
Beef Jerky Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 Is every Roger decision eventually overturned or does it just seem like it I think only two and that if b.c the discipline policies came out after they committed the crime. Also AP has not been reinstated per NFL.
enlightener Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 He's going to "switch" teams? i dont often lol posts, but when i do, i choose "marvs neighbor"
SJDK Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 I wish he would come here but can't everybody smell the trade with Dallas.. Or the release and sign by dallas... Or the Dallas sign and trade of Murray for Peterson?
C.Biscuit97 Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 I wish he would come here but can't everybody smell the trade with Dallas.. Or the release and sign by dallas... Or the Dallas sign and trade of Murray for Peterson? Yeah, there is going to be some shady deal with Dallas. Him and Jones are two scumbags in a pod.
Uffalo Ills Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 "everybody" and "nobody" aren't the same as "some". But you know that.
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 if AP gets cut, then he's not carrying any Cap baggage with him is he?
NoSaint Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 if AP gets cut, then he's not carrying any Cap baggage with him is he? he would be a free agent if cut. there would be no contractual baggage.
