YoloinOhio Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Uh, no they don't. There are 21 teams ahead of us. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/03/02/team-by-team-adjusted-cap-numbers/ behind them @thadbrown7: Based on this, #Bills have 9th most cap space. Just under 32 mil. Top 4 JAC-65 mil/OAK-54/CLE-50/NYJ-49. #Billsmafia http://t.co/fbqr46dBYO

YoloinOhio Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 Ugh, thanks. That dumb link confused the hell out of me, I thought we were in better shapethey really are, for a 9-7 team. Most of the teams at the top have really bad rosters.

Dorkington Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 they really are, for a 9-7 team. Most of the teams at the top have really bad rosters. 3 Playoff teams ahead of us though... hopefully we can join them.
billsfan89 Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 I wounder how much the Raiders, Jags, and Jets and teams with 40+ million in cap space will spend. All three of those teams don't have major extensions like the Colts and all 3 have a lot of needs.
Nitro Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Colts are in 6th and can tell a FA about playing for a Super Bowl Jacksonville has money but is rebuilding. Bills can get some good mid range FA to fill out the roster. Offensive line and LBs will see new talent. Bills are on the verge of making the playoffs.
eball Posted March 4, 2015 Author Posted March 4, 2015 Spotrac has updated their cap page with McCoy's hit...using the "top 51" number (which is the only relevant number) the Bills are still $22M under the cap. Don't believe these NFLPA numbers you're seeing quoted in articles and on Twitter -- they are total figures and not the top 51 salaries. The figure includes CJ's dead money. There's still a lot to play with, fellas...they aren't done.

Let's see... $8-9m for Hughes A couple mid level $4-5m guys A couple depth guys at $1-2m Leaves us $0 - 4m left for rolling over into next year?

Dorkington Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Quarterback? I don't know how much a Locker, Hoyer, Sanchez or Moore would want? I'm assuming a QB would be one of the $4-5m guys, no? Unless we clear space, I doubt we can re-sign Hughes, and pick up Sanchez (assuming he's the highest paid of the group)

I think he'd be a bit cheaper.

Remember, signing bonuses only count at 20% of their value the year paid.
Canadian Bills Fan Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 I would LOVE to see them sign a to G and top TE and then adress the rest in the draft CBF

Rockinon Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Don't the Iggles pick up the tab for Kiko's contract? Or is that all ready figured in?
