LB3 Posted March 8, 2015 Author Posted March 8, 2015 What a great episode! I love seeing the culture shock on the English faces when Lagertha made the sacrifice. The new mystery man already has me intrigued and hooked. Speaking of Lagertha, yowsa!
/dev/null Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 (edited) Is the mysterious bard actually Thor? WHO KNOWS He's actually a Mayan God named Zipacna Let's see who picks up the reference... And who gets it without Googeling Zipacna Edited March 8, 2015 by /dev/null

BillsFan-4-Ever Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 bump - this got buried and it is on tomorrow will Floki continue to be angry when does Ragnar bed Princess Kwenthrith when will Athelstan's dabbling get him in trouble?
LB3 Posted March 12, 2015 Author Posted March 12, 2015 (edited) bump - this got buried and it is on tomorrow will Floki continue to be angry when does Ragnar bed Princess Kwenthrith when will Athelstan's dabbling get him in trouble? Of course Floki will still be angry, it's what makes him so amusing. Like how he was mad that he was too happy in the first episode. Ragnar will take the Princess whenever he is feeling...up...to it. Not sure on Athelstan. I will say that I enjoy his storyline a lot now, which I never thought I would have said when the show first began. Edited March 12, 2015 by KikoSeeBallKikoGetBall

Sun God Don't know if you had to Google it or not, but that's the correct answer The actor who plays the mysterious traveler also had a couple spots on Stargate SG-1 as a lesser Gou'ald named Zipacna Edited March 12, 2015 by /dev/null

BillsFan-4-Ever Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 (edited) Wow!!!! Great episode last night! Everyone hooked up with everyone! CBF and more subplots keep us wondering what will happen the traveler appears as a woman before Siggy's demise then disappears in a cloud of smoke do you think that is why he let siggy die, so she wouldn't reveal who he is? when he first soothed the pain of the baby 2 boys drowned Siggy = 2 boys? is there a bi-gender god of water? Buffalo Barbarian Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 when he first soothed the pain of the baby 2 boys drowned Siggy = 2 boys? is there a bi-gender god of water? guess I didn't make that connection. She sure seemed happy to be drowning, why would she not come out too? Bi gender, doubt it, but being a "god" he can probably transform. I would like more info on all this that's for sure. I hate when producers throw in random stuff for no reason or explanation and hate all this get more info online crap. Um no, I got enough stuff to do, just put in the friggin show.
/dev/null Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 and more subplots keep us wondering what will happen the traveler appears as a woman before Siggy's demise Not just any woman...Siggy's daughter who died in season 1 or season 2. She sure seemed happy to be drowning, why would she not come out too? She wasn't happy to be drowning. She was happy to be with her daughter I would like more info on all this that's for sure. I hate when producers throw in random stuff for no reason or explanation and hate all this get more info online crap. Um no, I got enough stuff to do, just put in the friggin show. Not really random stuff. Granted it took me a few seconds to remember Siggy's daughter during that scene. And near the end of the episode, the Traveler mentioned that Siggy was in Valhala with her daughter, husband, and son

I hope I read this properly after he first appeared and soothed Ragnar's son pain, two (drowned) young boys were caught in a fisherman's net. the next time he soothed Ragnar's son pain Siggy drowned - my stupid concept - Body mass index? basically life for pain Edited March 15, 2015 by BillsFan-4-Ever
LB3 Posted March 15, 2015 Author Posted March 15, 2015 (edited) What an incredible episode! The poisoning by the queen of Mercier. Athelstan's dalliance being discovered by the prince. Lagertha showing that she cannot be played so easily. As to the wanderer, wow! Someone suggested Odin, but if it was a god, I would guess it would be the trickster Loki. Things definitely got turned up a notch with this episode. Favorite moment for me was when Ragnar and Ecbert were chatting quietly alone. Ragnar: Are you corrupt? Ecbert: Oh yes. Are you? Ragnar: Mm hmm. I literally couldn't stop laughing for a couple minutes. Edited March 15, 2015 by KikoSeeBallKikoGetBall

I literally couldn't stop laughing for a couple minutes. That was a great exchange I suspect Ragnar and Ecbert will eventually become enemies, but not of their choosing. Something or someone beyond their control, probably someone or something that they thought they had under control, will drive a wedge between them. But for now, they are allies and reflections of one another
