Nanker Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 No for 1 reason. He is a bad QB. Well, he did get Doug Baldwin to give him a salute in SB 49 after he scored a TD. He does have that going for him.
DefenseWins Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Just say NO to dogkillers... Some things ARE more important than football....
Buffalo_Stampede Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 I just don't like what he did. Without ever knowing what he did he would be the best free agent available.
Gugny Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 I just don't like what he did. Without ever knowing what he did he would be the best free agent available. Based on what? He was the worst starter in the NFL last year.
Talley56 Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 **Remembering his game against us back in November on Monday night in Detroit** Heck no
Formerly Allan in MD Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 He's toast. No thanks. Burnt toast.
ecgetty Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 My gut says no but..behind an improved OL and with a WR Corp that likely idolizes him. Perhaps a stopgap to 2016? Problem is that a decent performance leaves us middle of the pack in 2016 draft once again.
moshermw Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 Did 23 months for interstate gambling - not cruelty - that's only a max of 6 months. So Uncle Sam even thinks dogfighting isn't as bad as not giving them their cut of the action. Did the 23 for him and his peeps - they got nothing - and threw him under the bus. He did learn that society isn't as tolerant of dogfighting as his childhood culture - an still spreads that message. Bigger lesson was on how to pick your loyalties - that must have really hurt - and therefore stuck. Dude was a freak of nature - has lost steps. Still has a good arm and is more accurate than most think. The Jets O was a dumpster fire - even in comparison to ours so wouldn't base anything on that.. Every locker room he's ever been in loves him - great leader and motivator as a vet now. Would think he could be a quality backup for a couple years to a dual threat QB. EJ, Locker, Tyrod, etc. Starter ? no.
Uffalo Ills Posted February 16, 2015 Author Posted February 16, 2015 umb hread. o ucking ay. is that english?
Jim in Anchorage Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 My gut says no but..behind an improved OL and with a WR Corp that likely idolizes him. Perhaps a stopgap to 2016? Problem is that a decent performance leaves us middle of the pack in 2016 draft once again. Why would our WR idolize him? Are they also sadistic hoodlums?
CodeMonkey Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 As a backup sure Vick as a backup to Manuel? Good Lord, shoot me now.
Gugny Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Vick as a backup to Manuel? Good Lord, shoot me now. Seriously. Worst - offseason - EVER.
