I've never seen Tom Hanks do any kind of stand up/improv. That was pretty funny. "Honey, go set up some hey bales in the back yard".

i don't think I have, either. The man has many talents!

You probably watch Fallon and enjoy celebrity beer pong.

Check out the '80s gem PUNCHLINE, it'll make you look at Forrest Gump a bit differently. At least the Sally Fields / Hanks relationships.

I thought the movie was OK, but the standup was the weakest part. They wanted him to write his stuff himself, in a few months of hitting clubs with a standup advisor. And that's kind of what it looked like when he was supposed to be a really good standup in that movie.

Disappointed me.

not the best impressions but funny enough

Weren't impressions, really, but I thought the Rex and Coughlin ones were really funny.

I would expect this from the youngins... But you aren't that young. Don't you remember his early years? Didn't he get started in stand-up/improv? He's just going back to his roots.
