Just Jack Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 For some reason this popped into my head the other morning, remembering the scene in Shawshank where they are going through the donated library books and Andy mentions that Monte Cristo is about a prison escape. It got me thinking of the siilarites between both stories.... Man sent to prison for a crime he didn't commit both prisoners were tunneling their way out both escapes involved water both men got revenge both men came into a large amount of money after escaping Any other similarities people can think of? Or other movies that mention a book that is similar to the movie?
