Azalin
I was there for the January 17th 1982 'nothing above zero' day. I'm sure it wasn't a coincidence that it was later that year that I moved away.
Chef Jim
We'll be freezing here this weekend. I'm taking wife to Sonoma for Valentine's Day on Saturday. It's supposed to be in the mid 70's. Those bastards in SoCal are expecting high 80's

ExiledInIllinois
Good... You can have it BFLO! I am glad it (polar votex or whatever silly name they call it) is diving further east! Enjoy... It isn't too bad after you get used to it, won't even need a coat for short spells after too long.
Marv's Neighbor
I remember in the 60's, (maybe Jan 64?) they closed the schools because BUF had an unusual E wind, that blew the Lake Erie ice into the water intake, and shut the city water supply off. There was still water in the system, but they couldn't draw any more from the lake. Good times!!!
