Kelly the Dog Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 RIP Earthquake. A few months after the Bills drafted "Earthquake," the huge FB out of Ohio State to block for OJ, Bills fans started calling him "Tremor."
jumbalaya Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 One of my favorite nicknames from college. Wish he had lasted longer in the pro's.
Green Lightning Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Met him as a kid at a high school. He looked Like a giant to me. Way to young to pass.
BillsNutInKorea Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 I thought it was Oregon ? Or are u thinking of someone else ?
Kelly the Dog Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 I thought it was Oregon ? Or are u thinking of someone else ? It was Oregon State not Ohio State, thanks. Brain fart.
boyst Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Rip They don't make nicknames like they used to. Nowawadays he'd be EarphkwaK.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Ahh the good ol' days, when the Full Back was king.
Beef Jerky Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Funny my earthquake alert did a story in him.
Helpmenow Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Always liked "Mini" Max Anderson Nickname
GG Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 It was Oregon State not Ohio State, thanks. Brain fart. Geez, the guy corrects your mistake, and you call him a brain fart. Rough crowd.
st pete gogolak Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Sorry to hear the news. This is more about how the game has evolved rather than any ineptitude on the Bills' part but you've just used the #1 overall pick on maybe the greatest running back to ever come out of college football. You have the first pick in the second round (back then, only 26 teams so it's the equivalent of another first round pick today). What do you do? Pick another running back of course! By the way, for all you 20/20 hindsight folks, Ted (the "Mad Stork") Hendricks was selected by the Colts a couple of picks later.
Beef Jerky Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Geez, the guy corrects your mistake, and you call him a brain fart. Rough crowd. He doesn't like being wrong.
Kelly the Dog Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 He doesn't like being wrong. GG is one of my closest friends here and was joking. And anyone who understands English would know that.
GG Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 GG is one of my closest friends here and was joking. And anyone who understands English would know that. Psst, the check hasn't cleared yet.
Wacka Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Saw him at a Cheektowaga Central HS football game back in the early 70s when he was playing for the Bills. Got his autograph back then.
Chandler#81 Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 RIP, Earthquake. He was part of our all Rookie Backfield with OJ & James Harris. Cancer sucks!
vorpma Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 RIP, Earthquake. He was part of our all Rookie Backfield with OJ & James Harris. Cancer sucks! Bills made AFL history twice starting all rookie backfields; 1969 and 1968 with Dan Darraugh, Ben Gregory, and Mini Max Anderson.
