Franchiseneedsme Posted March 18, 2015 Author Posted March 18, 2015 Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter · 4m4 minutes ago Dallas gave DE Greg Hardy a one-year, $11.3 million deal that could be worth up to $13.116 million. Dam I wanted him. Maybe next year we cut Mario and grab Hardy If he is cheaper.

Big Turk Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 (edited) Hardy's a beast who brings his own game. He can dominate an LT. Hughes had to feed off the work of others Oh yeah? Maybe you should ask multiple All-Pro LT Joe Thomas about his opinion on that. Edited March 19, 2015 by matter2003

DrDawkinstein Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Interesting n one is talking about the unique structure of the new Hardy deal with Dallas. While it could be worth between $11-13mil, his base salary is actually quite low ($745,000). The rest is made up in bonuses. Namely the "53MPGARB" bonus worth $9.2mil which, according to Adam Schefter, stands "53-Man per game roster bonus". So this is basically a week-to-week contract, and if Dallas chooses to remove him from their roster at any time, for any reason, he loses the bulk of the contract.
