phypon Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Seattle is now the laughing stock among football minds and fans across the world. The OC will hear snickers on that call forever. When even the most casual of fans smack their foreheads...hard...well, sheesh. Fans will be calling for his head. The only way to save face will be to can him.
Momentoftrth Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 We just witnessed it. "All time biggest undersell of a thread title." Â It's the worst call in the history of pro football. Period.
K D Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Seahawks forum calling for Bevell to be fired! Lol. PC said it's on himself but I'm sure it was Bevell's call. What a disaster
Lurker Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 That call is on the HC as well. No way Carroll doesn't weigh in on that decision...
May Day 10 Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 They interviewed carroll. He was a confused stammering mess
Kelly the Dog Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 That call is on the HC as well. No way Carroll doesn't weigh in on that decision... Usually that is true I think. Not sure who made it but at that point the HC will usually know the call. Marrone used to say publicly that he made those calls and I believe him.
Big Gun Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 All time dumbest play call in any situation, in any game, ever. Absolutely unfathomable. Â Way to throw away the Super Bowl Seattle. 100% correct. Worst call in any game ever played, EVER!
Bubba Gump Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 I bet there was a whole lot of seafood regurgitated in Seattle the last half hour or so. That was an inexcusable play call. Horrendous.
17 Josh Allen Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 (edited) I just got a phone call from my 75 year old grandma who only watches one football game a year the Super Bowl and she called me asking my why they did not run it with Marshawn Lynch. The Seattle fans have got to be Sick and so is the Defense. Even my 75 year old Grammy knows that you don't throw a pass right there. hell NE was going to let them score so they would have enough time for a long FG shot. Marrone used to say publicly that he made those calls and I believe him. And back in the day, Marv used to handle the goal line calls, becuase the buck stops with the HC...
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Â That was my thought too...."why are they in a shotgun to hand off to Lynch?" I couldn't even follow the play at first it was so unbelievable. plus the looked totally disorganized as to who was supposed to be where. Dumbest play call ever coach may have to find his own way back
NobesBLO13 Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 They interviewed carroll. He was a confused stammering messHe turned into Jim Tomsula.
Johnny Hammersticks Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Carroll totally befuddled trying to explain the play call. Saying they didn't want to run the ball against NE's goal line personnel. Wow.
KD in CA Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 I wish someone had hired him so he wouldn't have been calling plays tonight.
Sojourner Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Irrespective of his new contract, Lynch should hold out again this coming off-season.
sodbuster Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 I really thought RW was gonna pull a Doug Flutie and bust out the naked boot.
