Miyagi-Do Karate Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 You beat me to it Ralph. The only thing missing was the runback. Seriously-- what genius came up with the "throw a slant from a bunch formation when there are 9 guys within two yards of the ball" play? I thought it was widdle Nate-- but maybe this play is in the arsenal of every cutesy OC.
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 It is going to be sweet when we knock them off their pedestal!!!
Kelly the Dog Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 They still had 2 timeouts. No, one I think.

Miyagi-Do Karate Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 plus there was a chance BB was going to just give them the TD there so they could get the ball back with :30. Wouldn't be great if BB said as much in his presser?

angryfan62 Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 It's on the OC, Wilson shouldn't have even been in that situation. True, and even if that was the call from the sidelines he should have thrown it away once he saw the tight coverage on the intended receiver.
Lurker Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 No, one I think. One TO in their pocket makes the call even more boneheaded...
mannc Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Without double checking - did the clock situation have 3 runs left on it? If not a quick pass might actually get you a 3rd attempt at the endzone that just rushing might notThere was 34 seconds left and they had a timeout. And NE probably would have used a TO too.
YoloinOhio Posted February 2, 2015 Author Posted February 2, 2015 Cute is right. That was a finesse play when straight up balls to the walls football wins the game.they completely went away from who they are. Unfathomable.
NoSaint Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Â Any pass play introduces additional risk. The odds of Lynch being stopped 3 times against a worn out defense are almost nil. It was 25 seconds and 1 timeout though, right? Think they squeeze 3 runs or does a safe pass going incomplete then open the playbook for 2 plays actually getting you 3 shots?
Freddie's Dead Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 (edited) No, one I think. Correct, sorry. 25 seconds and a timeout, I think they get 3 tries in. Edited February 2, 2015 by Fred Jackson Jockstrap

YoloinOhio Posted February 2, 2015 Author Posted February 2, 2015 Hate the Pats but cool to see the UDFA rookie with the glory.
Kelly the Dog Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Correct, sorry. 30 seconds and a timeout, I think they get 3 tries in. No question they do.
K D Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Is Tom going to announce his retirement and go out on top? That's our only hope
billsfan1959 Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 It's on the OC, Wilson shouldn't have even been in that situation. Please. Russell Wilson is an NFL QB. He threw that interception, it is on him.
Beerball Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Seattle's final offensive play was reminiscent of the Meathead years.
