Deranged Rhino Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Is it worth going after Browner? I like Leodis more than Browner, but that's me.
Augie Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 I hope they grossly overpaid and he has a string of groin and hammy injuries that hamper him for 17 weeks. Too much money for ONE guy who's NOT a QB. No need to worry beyond 17 weeks and concern ourselves with playoff time.
BackInDaDay Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Is it worth going after Browner? a tall physical defender gives Rex more matchup options
BobbyC81 Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Signed with Jets per nfl.com Good. That was too much money. At least he's gone from the Pats.

GG Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Interesting overseen snippet from NFL.com Gregg Rosenthal: It's rare that a transaction can so directly cause pain for two division rivals, but this move also will be tough for Rex Ryan to swallow. Revis' first official visit was scheduled to be with Buffalo, but the Jets just couldn't bear to see him play for another rival.
North Buffalo Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Revis was a nice luxury, Bills really need. To lock down a guard and a TE, Clay hopefully, but they need to get their plan Bs and Cs in order
Rob's House Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 With how much of their cap he's consuming I'm ok with this.
YoloinOhio Posted March 11, 2015 Author Posted March 11, 2015 Better than the PatsI was trying to decide which was better for Bills - Jets or Pats. I have to agree. The Jets got better but the Pats got worse.
Billsguy Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 @AdamSchefter: Jets are expected to pursue free-agent-to-be CB Darrelle Revis to see if they can bring him back to New York, per sources. @AdamSchefter: Not just Jets interested in Darrelle Revis; Rex Ryan will try to lure the free-agent-to-be CB to Buffalo as well. AFC East in on Revis. They Jets can keep Revis, the Dolphins can keep Suh, the Bills signed Felton!!! Enough said.
papazoid Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 shady will run right past revis after felton pancakes him.

YoloinOhio Posted March 11, 2015 Author Posted March 11, 2015 More detail @AlbertBreer: Jets CB Darrelle Revis agrees to a five-year, $70 million deal. $48 million over first three years. $39 million fully guaranteed.

I guess another one bites the dust. Well, that is too much money given our overall needs anyway.
BuffaloRebound Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Thats a lot of money for a 30 year-old CB. Would've loved to land him, but probably for the best. The sequel rarely ever as good as the original.
