26CornerBlitz Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 (edited) This week he's at Bridgestone where he's won 8 times. Edited July 31, 2018 by 26CornerBlitz
boyst Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 If you're not first, you're last. He's finished. He's a shell of himself in game that's 99.9992% mental. It's tragic. Losing his father destroyed him.
row_33 Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 Golf channel changed its schedule last night to carry Tiger for his whole first hour otherwise they would have cut us off the last half hour until the major network comes on at 2pm
26CornerBlitz Posted August 5, 2018 Posted August 5, 2018 TW was out of sorts for the weekend with back to back 3 over scores of 73.

He'll never play like the old Tiger, but he seems to be at peace with that, which is good to see. Just enjoy the moment and draw pleasure from being in contention again...

It's amazing how we as society love to watch someone sky rocket to flame, enjoy their fall from the top and rejoice in their reclamation. That Tiger seems to be finding peace is the most important thing for himself. I still think he's a douche, though.

He was a douche to his wife, for sure...don't know that he has ever been perceived as particularly douchy otherwise, though. Just an intense competitor. I am actually happy for him being a relevant factor on the tour again.

He attracts an audience to the game that it elsewise may not get, which is the casual fan. And if that motivates some kids to get off the couch than so be it. But, his attitude towards his wife and women and just the way he behaved was douchey.
26CornerBlitz Posted August 7, 2018 Posted August 7, 2018 Tiger Woods appears to be running out of gas | Golf Channel Statistics backed up the fatigue factor, as his measured swing speed continues to decrease: • 122.6 mph (Quail Hollow) • 119.4 mph (Players) • 118.5 mph (Memorial) • 118.0 mph (Quicken Loans) • Sunday at Firestone, he clocked in at 117.7 mph That was still 20th-best in a field of 71, but nearly 6 mph slower than when he was measured at the Honda Classic in late February.

26CornerBlitz Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 TW makes the turn at +2 after a birdie at 18.
