eball Posted June 15, 2018 Posted June 15, 2018 Only one guy who has played more than 18 holes is under par (DJ at -2 through 30 holes).

eball Posted June 15, 2018 Posted June 15, 2018 (edited) Well, Tiger's trying not to go home...finished with back-to-back birdies to get to +10. Projected cut is +9 but you never know. Meanwhile, all DJ does is shoot a 67 to finish -4. Only guy under par besides Poulter, who hasn't teed off yet. Edited June 15, 2018 by eball

26CornerBlitz Posted June 15, 2018 Posted June 15, 2018 Spieth makes 4 straight birdies on 13 through 16 only to bogey 17 & 18 to go to +9 and miss the cut by 1. Crazy!
eball Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Conditions appear to be favorable today...could see some guys make a run on "moving day" with a 65 or 66. And of course, DJ could do the same and it won't matter.
eball Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Didn’t see this coming from DJ. Setting up for an awesome Sunday.
26CornerBlitz Posted June 17, 2018 Posted June 17, 2018 Back to back US Open wins for Brooks Koepka. Very impressive!
KD in CA Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 Enough with the whining about the course. US Open is supposed to be an even par tournament. And only Dustin Johnson could stare at a putt for ten minutes and then leave it eight feet short.

Primarily because it gives us one less reason to mention Curtis Strange. Would have loved to see Reed force a playoff but he just couldn't keep his hot streak going. Amazing final round from British Jesus too. 1
26CornerBlitz Posted June 29, 2018 Posted June 29, 2018 TT postscript: It's all coming together after 65 | Golf Channel POTOMAC, Md. - I watched Tiger Woods make seven birdies Friday. He walked in at least two of them. He chipped in another. Here are some thoughts after I got unreasonably excited in unreasonable temperatures. Highlight of the round for Tiger.
eball Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 Good tourney for Tiger, although a lot of the big name guys weren't in the field. It seems pretty clear now that unless he suffers a physical setback Tiger will be quite competitive on a regular basis, and could certainly win a tournament or two. I still don't see any sort of return to dominance, however -- regardless of how much the media want it to happen.
26CornerBlitz Posted July 6, 2018 Posted July 6, 2018 Report: Tiger, Phil planning match for $10 million Two months ago at the Players Championship, where Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson were paired together for the first two rounds, Mickelson suggested he and his rival-turned-friend Woods skip the tournament stuff and play a "high-stakes, winner-take-all match." It would appear that the two players are ready to put their money where their mouths are, as a report from Golf.com's Alan Shipnuck suggests the two legends are planning a head-to-head match for $10 million.

Great idea.....but about ten years late.
