LB3 Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 And his first drive against the Bills (in relief) was phenomenal. He is a rookie QB who was inconsistent. Against our backup D line.
Hapless Bills Fan Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 Have you seen EJ Manuel play? Not saying to sign him, but all things need to be considered given the Bills QB situation. Â All things need to be considered, and some things need to be quickly rejected as "not useful"
YoloinOhio Posted January 29, 2015 Author Posted January 29, 2015 (edited) And his first drive against the Bills (in relief) was phenomenal. He is a rookie QB who was inconsistent.he was playing against a backup DL that was in the midst of a blowout and a unit that didn't prepare for his style of play. Once he came back out again and they had like 5 min to prep, he consistently sucked for his next 7 quarters. Edited January 29, 2015 by YoloinOhio
GunnerBill Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 he was playing against a backup DL that was in the midst of a blowout and a unit that didn't prepare for his style of play. Once he came back out again and they had like 5 min to prep, he consistently sucked for his next 7 quarters. Â And he did it running two plays and a scramble drill. That drive whilst exciting was a red flag to me - I think it showed they were not confident that he knew the playbook.
PromoTheRobot Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 And his first drive against the Bills (in relief) was phenomenal. He is a rookie QB who was inconsistent. I think you have it backwards. Manziel has been consistently bad. That TD drive was the aberration.
FireChan Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 I think you have it backwards. Manziel has been consistently bad. That TD drive was the aberration. He played two games.
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 And his first drive against the Bills (in relief) was phenomenal. He is a rookie QB who was inconsistent. Puhlease.... One drive where the Bills had no NFL game film (clue) what he was capable of then what happened?? Oh yeah this  Anyone got a Snickers??
dave mcbride Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 And his first drive against the Bills (in relief) was phenomenal. He is a rookie QB who was inconsistent. He threw an easy pick that Searcy dropped. Manziel was lucky.
Doc Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 All I can say is thank god the Bills didn't take him with their 1st rounder like several posters here wanted them to do.

Beef Jerky Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 (edited) Good his NFL career was never going to happen. Now he can leave the NFL forever and just go to rehab. Hopefully this is the last time Manziel is mentioned. Edited February 2, 2015 by Beef Jerky
YoloinOhio Posted February 2, 2015 Author Posted February 2, 2015 A lot of people inside the org knew he was an alcoholic. Sad. Wonder if it was his decision to go.

YoloinOhio Posted February 2, 2015 Author Posted February 2, 2015 (edited) I wish him good luck on getting betterYep. Ive been critical of his work ethic and wonder if this is related. Maybe, maybe not. Nevertheless, his health is most important at this point. Edited February 2, 2015 by YoloinOhio
NoSaint Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 A lot of people inside the org knew he was an alcoholic. Sad. Wonder if it was his decision to go. and if it was, wonder if it was heartfelt or just doing the celeb PR move after the ugly stories came out
Kirby Jackson Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 The 1st step to recovery is admitting that there is a problem. Hopefully he gets the help that he needs.
YoloinOhio Posted February 2, 2015 Author Posted February 2, 2015 and if it was, wonder if it was heartfelt or just doing the celeb PR move after the ugly stories came outi think that's a fair question
