YoloinOhio Posted February 3, 2015 Author Posted February 3, 2015 He's 22! Wasn't everyone an "alcoholic" at 22?not if they are professional athletes, no.
GunnerBill Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 He's 22! Wasn't everyone an "alcoholic" at 22? No. Being an alcoholic and liking a drink are not the same thing.

Even worse, he’s had no NFL success to speak of. Learning a playbook? Reading defenses? Recognizing blitzes? Shoot, the Browns are just hoping Manziel is sober on game day.

buffalo2218 Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 It's pretty pathetic he went from Johnny Football, to Johnny Jamboogie to Johnny Walker

BillsFan-4-Ever Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Yikes that story has been around for a few weeks. I heard it on the radio and that was the first "print" I saw on it. Johnny on the Spot
PromoTheRobot Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Should we bring him in to compete with EJ?
stevestojan Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 No. Being an alcoholic and liking a drink are not the same thing. That's my point. And why I put alcoholic in quotes. This is a kid who likes to party hard on the weekends but now he needs to be checked into Betty Ford?

This is a kid who likes to party hard on the weekends but now he needs to be checked into Betty Ford? Being too drunk to meet your work responsibilities, which were literally just showing up to the facility to get treatment, suggests that things are a step or two more serious than you suggest. kj

Beef Jerky Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 He's 22! Wasn't everyone an "alcoholic" at 22? I dont think everyone was screwing up their professions... Well Manziel didn't really screw anything up since he was never going to be a NFL QB anyway.
Augie Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 its why I was glad I found the link Johnny "Walker" Football was being pulled out of bed still drunk http://da.radio.cbss...yond-troubling/ Troubling indeed.... Manziel, Gordon, Gilbert. Someone in another thread was asking to take more chances with guys of questionable character. This is where that can take you if you're not very careful. What a mess.
rumblefish Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 get his life in order, become come back player of the year in the NFL, with a long career , odds are not in Cleveland That is what I hope for him, if that happens, it would shut-up a lot of the h aters on this board, sadly it won't shut all of the h aters up
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 (edited) get his life in order, become come back player of the year in the NFL, with a long career , odds are not in Cleveland That is what I hope for him, if that happens, it would shut-up a lot of the h aters on this board, sadly it won't shut all of the h aters up go away troll. or at least get serious for a change you call people haters because many of us can all see with our own eyes what a TRAIN wreck he turned out to be?
