plenzmd1 Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Wow, that is one expensive trip to Costa Rica. BTW, one minor point, not a cruise, but there day cruise or something like that included. Think these guys are all good guys and will be out and about a lot, but damn that is a huge premium to pay to see these guys on stage 3 times.
TheBillsWillRiseAgain Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Wow that look crazy fun. Too expensive for my tastes though. Already have 2 international trips planned for 2015.
DrDawkinstein Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 (edited) If it was with the Jim, Thurman, and Bruce of 1989 then it would totally be worth it! Not so sure about these older, sober guys though. edit: If I were going to drop that much coin on a trip with the Bills, it would be for the London game. Edited January 23, 2015 by DrDareustein

TheBillsWillRiseAgain Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 I'm going on a 7-day cruise to the Caribbean in April for less than 2 grand, so yeah, the bills cruise is a little pricey!
freeagentqb Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Top level platinum is $9800 per person and does not include airfare. Too rich for me. The lowest level is over $5000 and does not include airfare, Guess I'm staying home.
Mr. WEO Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 6-7 grand per person? To Costa Rica? Good luck with that.
Dirtbag Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 an open bar paired with ocean waves? thurm's seasickness is gonna be on like a mofo.
Jamie Nails Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 What if I told you that the 2005 Minnesota Vikings were in charge of entertainment?
BUFFALOTONE Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 What if I told you that the 2005 Minnesota Vikings were in charge of entertainment? I'm listening....
TheBillsWillRiseAgain Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 You're basically paying an extra few thousand dollars to be on a cruise with the Thurm, Kelly, and Bruce. Not that you're likely to run into them while on the cruise, but they might do a seminar or something.
sodbuster Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 I went to Costa Rica for a whole month, saw every sight they plan on seeing and then some, and only spent 1800 including airfare. No thanks.
plenzmd1 Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Its not a cruise!!!!! So the chances of running into them even less. One of the activities is an afternoon cruise, whic one or all 3 of these guys may be on... only guarantee is to see them on stage 3 times with Roy Firestone...who was like 100 during the Bills run in the early 90's...someone prolly gunna help that guy on stage
Rob's House Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 It's basically an additional $5k over what a comparable cruise would cost. Even if I had extra $5ks just laying around I still wouldn't do it just on principle. Yeah, it would be cool to meet those guys, but paying that much for the honor reeks of star struck hero worship which is not consistent with self-respect and dignity.
dib Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 I went to school with Firestone. I wouldnt urinate on him if he was on fire.
BillsPride12 Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 If it was with the Jim, Thurman, and Bruce of 1989 then it would totally be worth it! Not so sure about these older, sober guys though. edit: If I were going to drop that much coin on a trip with the Bills, it would be for the London game. Those were my exact thoughts as well when I first heard about this
Maury Ballstein Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 I went to Costa Rica for a whole month, saw every sight they plan on seeing and then some, and only spent 1800 including airfare. No thanks. Work ? Surfing ? Brothel hopping ?
Best Player Available Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 We got to Tierra Del Fuego, airfare included, launched, sailed, fished, drank, drank some more. Then drank again. For two weeks, cheaper than the cheapest package for this deal. What a rip.
Ted William's frozen head Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 This happened over 40 years ago, but I went on a European trip for five weeks, 3 different countries, all inclusive to, and fro' for $700.00. (I am not exaggerating) Shows you what today's dollar is worth.......
