Dorkington
http://news.nationalpost.com/2015/01/22/colorado-baker-accused-of-discrimination-for-refusing-to-write-anti-gay-message-on-bible-shaped-cake/ A dispute over a cake in Colorado raises a new question about gay rights and religious freedom: If bakers can be fined for refusing to serve married gay couples, can they also be punished for declining to make a cake with anti-gay statements? A baker in suburban Denver who refused to make a cake for a same-sex wedding is fighting a legal order requiring him to serve gay couples even though he argued that would violate his religious beliefs. But now a separate case puts a twist in the debate over discrimination in public businesses, and it underscores the tensions that can arise when religious freedom intersects with a growing acceptance of gay couples.... Bakery shop refuses to put in cake order that has anti gay themes, and is now suing the bakery for discrimination. What say you, PPP?
dayman
I say that being a person who wants to make a cake a particular way is not a protected class, and most discrimination laws are ridiculous anyway.
Ozymandius
It's almost clever but ultimately pointless time-wasting of a small business owner. Other conservatives online have already mentioned this, but someone needs to get a gay couple to ask a Muslim baker to make a wedding cake. Get some lib-on-lib crime going. FireChan
No one has the right to compel a business owner to do anything with their private business.

/dev/null
If the KKK walks into a black owned bakery and wants a Wedding cake for an Aryan Wedding, should the Bakery have the right of refusal?
Nanker
If the KKK walks into a black owned bakery and wants a Wedding cake for an Aryan Wedding, should the Bakery have the right of refusal? Will the bakery owners be sued if they put a time bomb inside the cake?

Other conservatives online have already mentioned this, but someone needs to get a gay couple to ask a Muslim baker to make a wedding cake. Get some lib-on-lib crime going. Pretty risky. The gay couple would probably be stoned, the lawyer be-headed and anyone who wrote about it would be shot.
Keukasmallies
Holy LBGT, Batmanperson, they're all around us. Commissioner Gordon and Chief O'Hara are on a partners get-away weekend, whatever shall we do....?
FireChan
They do now. Under the law, yes. But they shouldn't.
The Real Buffalo Joe
Not that I agree with the message, and the person who ordered the cake might not even. But I applaud them for making the point.
