YoloinOhio Posted January 22, 2015 Author Posted January 22, 2015 (edited) Maybe that's why Bill turned down the gig. Whaley won the power struggle with Marrone, Marrone opted out, bill no longer had a way to bring in Chris as GM with Whaley still on board. Thus, not worth his time. Could have been Chris was willing to cede control over the 53, unlike Whaley. Edited January 22, 2015 by YoloinOhio

Coach Tuesday Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Just in time for the Dolphins' opening. Sweet.
dave mcbride Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 It appears that Marrone has finally found his Admiral Stockdale.
vincec Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 STFU Schefter! Stop trying to get a job for a guy who your agent represemts. Just like he was a hot commodity this year..... This. This is a total disrespect for Bradley and the coaching staff he assembled before Marrone's arrival. Out of character coming from Schefter. This too. High school teams have GMs??? Never knew that.
Dirtbag Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 (edited) that's like getting a side of crap with your order of crap. Edited January 22, 2015 by Dirtbag
Malazan Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 that's like getting a side of crap with your order of crap. Would you like the crap salad as well, sir?
Peter Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 So St. doug wants to work for the son, But quits because the DAD might become the Czar.... things that make you go hhhhhmmmmmm. Like Tom and Bill pointing at each other and saying I didn't know anything did you know anything???? Nobody know anything, okay we ok they will go away now.... Very well said.
Dirtbag Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Would you like the crap salad as well, sir? sure, i've always special place in my heart for dave wannstedt.
Buffalo_Stampede Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 STFU Schefter! Stop trying to get a job for a guy who your agent represemts. Just like he was a hot commodity this year.....What is weird Marrone's agent is Rex Ryan's agent.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 I actually thought this thread was about a political campaign. That would have been more plausible.
BuffaninATL Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 I thought the UFL folded a couple of years ago?? This might be for a CFL gig.....Saskatchewan is a hot gig. I wonder if Marrone would be tempted to punt on 3rd down?
Captain Hindsight Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Safe to assume the douchetool has been a HC two years too long
seq004 Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Why would he even wait until next year when media outlets ( maybe Adam) already said paraphrasing "The hottest head coaching candidate this off season"? That offensive line job will show everyone in the league Doug has a brilliant mind how else would he have gotton the job with the Jags. Saying all that I'm jealous he still gets the money. Good luck St. Doogie;/
beerme1 Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 I feel even more grateful that Doug graced us with his decision to leave. Ugh I think it would have been Bill recommending his son as gm. Thanks Doug!
CardinalScotts Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 I've stopped caring, once a hot name as a coach rarely means your there again the next year. I think the opportunity passed at the NFL level
