filthymcnasty08 Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 With all of this talk about hard and soft balls, ball boys, ball bags and having the balls to cheat with soft balls, we missed the news on our favorite son…. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/01/22/nathaniel-hackett-interviewing-for-rams-offensive-coordinator-on-thursday/
John from Riverside Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Gonna be really interesting if he gets a OC position and Marrone is a OL coach...... Actually it will say a BUNCH
Canadian Bills Fan Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Gonna be really interesting if he gets a OC position and Marrone is a OL coach...... Actually it will say a BUNCH I would love this!!!! CBF
LB3 Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 (edited) Tavon Austin up the middle for -2 I think we'll see a very different Hackett away from the Saint. Edited January 22, 2015 by KikoSeeBallKikoGetBall
YoloinOhio Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I think we'll see a very different Hackett away from the Saint.Agreed but couldn't resist!
Canadian Bills Fan Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I have a feeling if given the chance, that Hackett would be a pretty decent OC. I truly believe that Marrone limited him during his time in Buffalo CBF
DC Tom Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I think we'll see a very different Hackett away from the Saint. "Hackett and the Saint." Sounds like a bad sitcom. Oh, wait...it was.
Canadian Bills Fan Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 "Hackett and the Saint." Sounds like a bad sitcom. Oh, wait...it was. Cant believe it got renewed for a second season..... CBF
Beef Jerky Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 So he might be OC for a team that won't be in St Louis for much longer.
K D Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 the Bills offense took a dump the 2 yrs under Hackett. it can't all be Doug's fault. Hack job should go back to college and prove himself. he's going to have a hard time getting a job in the NFL
BillsVet Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 There should be some offensive quality control positions available. Perhaps a position coach job out there, which is where he should have been back in 2013 when saint douglas was hired. Then again, it's hard to get coaching jobs in the NFL.
hondo in seattle Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I have a feeling if given the chance, that Hackett would be a pretty decent OC. CBF I think the best thing for Hackett right now would be to get a couple years seasoning as a QB (or other position) coach working under a top-flight OC. I'm not sure that his two years working with DM in the Bills organization really prepare him to be successful in the NFL. But Nate is smart and enthusiastic and could be a good OC some day.
Joaquin1119 Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I hope he does get the job and the Rams ends up being a better team. So he can make **** face Doug Marrone look like a crappy ass HC
Buffalo Barbarian Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I hope he does get the job and the Rams ends up being a better team. So he can make **** face Doug Marrone look like a crappy ass HC I was about to say pretty much the same thing.
Big C Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I have a feeling if given the chance, that Hackett would be a pretty decent OC. I truly believe that Marrone limited him during his time in Buffalo CBF Did you guys notice how often the offense would light it up on the first drive, and then get really conservative and awful after that?
swnybillsfan Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 i kinda hope that the rams have their second coming of the "greatest show on turf", and that nate hackett is happy and on his way to becoming a respected oc in the league. i have really enjoyed everything i heard from coach hackett. he seems like a good guy that the players all like and respect, and it definitely seems he was held down by his head coach. i really would love to see this guy become the second best oc in the league next year, behind roman, of course.
