TheBillsWillRiseAgain Posted January 21, 2015 Author Posted January 21, 2015 See, and all I wanted to do was complain. It looks like some people want to take it further. They've started a petition to have Bellichick suspended from the Superbowl: https://www.change.org/p/roger-goodell-suspend-bill-belichick-from-the-super-bowl
reddogblitz Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 http://grantland.com/the-triangle/the-beginners-guide-to-deflategate/ My favorite quote from the article: "These allegations involve screwing with actual games, doctoring footballs after NFL inspectors approve them, and making the ball easier to throw in an offense that throws constantly with a 37-year-old quarterback."

TheBillsWillRiseAgain Posted January 21, 2015 Author Posted January 21, 2015 If there's one online bastion more responsible for progress, it's change.org Hey they brought Brian back on Family Guy! In November 2013, Aaron Thompson from Tuscaloosa, Alabama started a petition, directed at Seth MacFarlane to bring back Brian Griffin on Family Guy, after his death in Season 12 episode "Life Of Brian", he stated that "He added a witty and sophisticated element to the show," petition creator Aaron Thompson wrote. "Family Guy and Fox Broadcasting will lose viewers if Brian Griffin is not brought back to the show... they killed off the dog who has lived in our homes for the last 15 years. They killed the dog we all have come to love. They killed America's dog!" Thompson's petition gained 30,000 signatures within 36 hours and is still causing controversy today.[25][26][27] The character was brought back to the show a few episodes later.[28]
BuffaloFan68 Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 If New England gets to play in the Super Bowl after being caught cheating again, then I will NOT watch the Super Bowl. NFL = WWE it's a joke.
TheBillsWillRiseAgain Posted January 21, 2015 Author Posted January 21, 2015 I want to know how the hell a Colts linebacker who almost never touches the football could tell after 1 INT that the ball was irregular yet the refs that touch it after every play did not.
DC Tom Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 I want to know how the hell a Colts linebacker who almost never touches the football could tell after 1 INT that the ball was irregular yet the refs that touch it after every play did not. Because an intercepting linebacker and a ref handle the ball differently.
TheBillsWillRiseAgain Posted January 21, 2015 Author Posted January 21, 2015 Refs are so untrained in what the standard ball pressure is supposed to be that they wouldn't notice the difference through an entire game? Aren't they trained to check for problems with the ball so they can swap them out if necessary?
DrDawkinstein Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 (edited) NFL NY Office Phone #: 1-212-450-2000Address for letters:280 Park AvenueNew York, NY 10017Roger Goodell's direct emailRoger.Goodell2@nfl.net Let'em hear it. If they arent going to pull the Patriots out of the Super Bowl, then Bill Belichick should at least be suspended for the 2015 season. Payton and Williams did far less and were given the boot (temporarily). Enough is enough with this team that doesnt think the rules apply to them. edit: This may also be a "secret" email address that Goddell gives out to people: rskinner@nfl.net Edited January 21, 2015 by DrDareustein
dbmu1977 Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Just sent them a comment, thanks for the link...Coach Bill needs to go. Take away what he loves the most, football.
Fan in San Diego Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I've heard a lot of pundits and former players talk about this. Its pretty commonly done by all teams and a none issue. Even spygate. All teams do it.
Fadingpain Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 (edited) "We're only watching for the commercials..." Probably. But start a Facebook campaign with legs, and the league office would still **** their collective pants over that alone. The Superbowl has too much inertia behind it, and this country has way too many idiots in it for something like this to work, especially with only a few days to work with. The Superbowl will be watched by over 100 million people, and most will know nothing of inflategate. Hell, half of those people won't know who the VP of the USA is. BillsFan-4-Ever Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 If New England gets to play in the Super Bowl after being caught cheating again, then I will NOT watch the Super Bowl. NFL = WWE it's a joke. enjoy the puppy bowl or Lingerie Bowl then
TheBillsWillRiseAgain Posted January 22, 2015 Author Posted January 22, 2015 (edited) Lingerie Bowl sounds like fun. I might have to check that out. Especially if the Patriots start running away with the game. Someone posted this petition on the Bills boards that has over 22,000 signatures already to strip the pats of their AFC champ title https://www.change.org/p/nfl-immediately-disqualify-patriots-and-replay-afc-championship-between-the-colts-and-ravens Edited January 22, 2015 by TheBillsWillRiseAgain
