KD in CA Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 I would be curious to see the 10 who did not play to their pay grade in 2014 Spiller. 9th highest paid RB, 64th in rushing (just behind Lynch's backup). Is anyone else on the team even close?
Mr. WEO Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Spiller. 9th highest paid RB, 64th in rushing (just behind Lynch's backup). Is anyone else on the team even close? I think you are undervaluing the potential to hit a home run with each carry.
KD in CA Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 I think you are undervaluing the potential to hit a home run with each carry. Naah. I never had much use for 35 HR guys who hit .220, were slow and couldn't field.
Mr. WEO Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Naah. I never had much use for 35 HR guys who hit .220, were slow and couldn't field. Indeed.
ExWNYer Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Naah. I never had much use for 35 HR guys who hit .220, were slow and couldn't field.

FireChan Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Here's the overpaid list http://www.buffalorumblings.com/buffalo-bills-opinion/2015/1/23/7856771/buffalo-bills-value-players-keith-rivers-chris-williams-cj-spiller "Mario Williams." Stopped reading there.
Ted William's frozen head Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 (edited) Mike Williams was not allowed to make his pay grade. That alone is enough to banish Marrone forever to the dark corridor of douchebaggery. What did Marrone's pettiness cost the Buffalo Bills in Mike William's' salary??? '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' $1.8 Mil. is a lot of pettiness... Nice analytics. Kiko's stats were even worse. Not sure if Kiko is being paid for '14...... HOUSE Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 (edited) While some Buffalo Bills players provided a return way above their pay grade in 2014, there were others that underperformed their contracts, too. In the era of free agency, with big-money deals handed out willy nilly, that should hardly come as a surprise - and as you will see, almost all of the players on the list are on here with free agent contracts. It should reinforce the importance of the draft in your minds. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/buffalo-bills-opinion/2015/1/23/7856771/buffalo-bills-value-players-keith-rivers-chris-williams-cj-spiller Edited January 23, 2015 by HOUSE
Not at the table Karlos Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Goodwin only had one catch? Wtf.
K D Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Goodwin only had one catch? Wtf. He can't stay on the field. He gets hurt every time he gets hit. It's embarrassing
Whites Bay Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Wait until we actually have to pay a QB. Contributions from those on rookie contracts will be the difference between the SB and an also ran. THIS is a significant comment. BeerSphere, I hope I'm still around to remember this note when it comes time for the Bills to re-sign a "Kelly". If you think you've heard whining and screaming on this board to date....
atlbillsfan1975 Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 Anyone else starting to see a correlation between the Bills and Seahawks? Look at the young talent that is stepping up on D. Now if EJ or anyone can turn into anything like Wilson(who is good but not great), the Bills have a bright future.
bobobonators Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Can we please please please not have 2 kickers on the roster next season??
Rob's House Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 4. Kyle Orton Orton was the best QB we've had in a decade. Yes, I realize it's not saying much, but for a guy to sign off the street 10 minutes before the start of the season, come off the bench to go 7-5 and post an 87.8 QB Rating at a position that sees guys like Cutler & Bradford bringing in close to $20 mm/yr, then yeah, I think he played up to and maybe even above his pay grade.
billsfan714 Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Goodwin only had one catch? Wtf. Yes and the more amazing part is there are people who post on this board who act like this guy is a weapon.
