Miyagi-Do Karate
Marrone is the front runner for a job that no one wants, no one else is under consideration for, and doesn't even exist. He better wear a nice suit to the interview or he's done. Haha; He also better not cancel his interview.
GG
He and O'Brien are good friends, and I believe previously O'Brien said that he would have a spot for Marrone on his staff Looks like he needed to call in the favor, at last.

Miyagi-Do Karate
Particularly since this is Saint Doug's offensive strategy: Coach Marrone's Offensive Strategy.png This is the best thing ever. How did you pry this away from the analytics department? It is highly proprietary.

YoloinOhio
Particularly since this is Saint Doug's offensive strategy: Coach Marrone's Offensive Strategy.png eerily similar to reality but also there's the token overthrow to Sammy down the sideline just to say he tried to target him but, ya know, obviously. rumblefish
anything to lower unemployment in this country is a good thing, and he won't have to pay state income tax on his contract, yuppie!!!!
JimBob2232
I saw it here... http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/175494-marrone-interviewing-in-denver/page-10 "Marrone and Bill O'Brien are best friends. They were Best men in each others wedding (or at least in one of their weddings...i cant remember). It's not surprising that O'Brien would find a spot for Marrone somewhere in the Texans organization. Truthfully its probably Marrones best chance at saving face here. Go hang with his bud for a few years (or at least one year) until people forget about this whole debacle. Maybe he can even be houstons offensive coordinator (they dont have one...O'Brien calls all the plays). Its too perfect of a fit for it to not happen." YoloinOhio
1/4 of the league doesn't have an OC under contract right now. Yet Doug waits.
Niagara Dude
He had no other offers and his only friend left in Houston threw him a bone.Looks good on him, turned into the NFL'S BIGGEST JOKE!
BobbyC81
Marrone is uniquely gifted to be an OC who doesn't call his own plays. So this would be a perfect fit. So, he finally gets to coach Fitzpatrick!

Sisyphean Bills
From the article: "The Texans are reportedly considered a "front runner" to land former Bills coach Doug Marrone, according to CBSSports.com NFL Insider Jason La Canfora." I like how they put quotes around "front runner". If there is only one team interested in hiring his sorry ass, they aren't really a front runner at all. They have to be careful not to lap themselves.
Fadingpain
I found this to be hilarious too. He is the front runner that no one wants. He only appears to be running in the front because the entire field is coming up from behind to lap him. In all seriousness, can you imagine hiring Doug Marrone as your OC? If he were to actually get such a job, it wouldn't last more than a year until he was exposed.
Niagara Dude
This is big joke, there is no other person interviewing for the job, please just stop with BS reports to pump this loser up.
