major Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 I'm calling it early. I think it's our Bills vs. Philadelphia in next year's Super Bowl. Rex Ryan will turn our defense into the 85 Bears next year. Hope I'm right.
major Posted January 19, 2015 Author Posted January 19, 2015 I'm afraid we will have to sign a FA QB to be our Jim McMahon. However, Fred Jackson equals Walter Payton.
Who is Yuri? Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Schedule the parade, early... very early, and by all means have fun. Why not this year?
major Posted January 19, 2015 Author Posted January 19, 2015 Rex Ryan carried off the field in Super Bowl 50 like his dad, Buddy, was carried off in Super Bowl 20.
Bleed Bills Blue Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Ok, I'm in...but can we please hold for field goals on the left hash mark?
Charles Romes Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 It is now or never for this D. Mario is 30 in a few weeks.
major Posted January 19, 2015 Author Posted January 19, 2015 It is now or never for this D. Mario is 30 in a few weeks. I agree. That is why I think next year is our best shot
BigPappy Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Buffalo in the 50th superbowl would be very cool and ironic since there first appearance was superbowl 25. Stars aligning......maybe? Bigpappy
Dorkington Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 It is now or never for this D. Mario is 30 in a few weeks. Yup... Mario and Kyle are on the downsides of their career. Dareus might go elsewhere. We might lose Hughes this off season. This year is basically our shot, then it's downhill.
hondo in seattle Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 For the first time in a decade or so, I'm predicting the Bills make the playoffs. But Super Bowl? That stretches the imagination.
MDH Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Yup... Mario and Kyle are on the downsides of their career. Dareus might go elsewhere. We might lose Hughes this off season. This year is basically our shot, then it's downhill. Mario just had the best season of his career. I'd hold off on calling it the downside just yet.

TheFunPolice Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 DL can play at a very high level into their mid 30s Mario has probably 4-5 elite seasons left. He's in his prime now.
pepsicat17 Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 If this yera is our last shot we're screwed cause last time I checked EJ was our leading candidate for QB at the present time and sadly I don't think he is a super-bowl caliber QB. Unless we pull of a miraculous trade or hit the lotto in the draft its 2016 at the earliest.
Dorkington Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Mario just had the best season of his career. I'd hold off on calling it the downside just yet. Sorry, should say it's incoming. He's hitting the summit right now and has to come down soon But still, 75% of KW, and 85% of MW, is pretty good. But if we want them at their peak (or as peak as it's gonna get going forward) this upcoming year is our best shot. Hopefully our GM can fill some holes on offense, get Hughes re-signed, extend Dareus, and turn this thing around.
JeebusCrust Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 I don't think it's too much of a stretch to have this on the table as a possibility. If we can make a step forward at QB and O line.... keep most of what we currently have... we have shown that we can play with the best. Look at how we did against GB and they were in the NFC Championship. I'm sure with Rex here our mission to stick it to the Pats will be greater than ever and we have enough talent to be able to. However it just might be the flavor of Kool-aid I'm drinking tonight, but still... not saying it will happen, just it's possible
