John from Riverside Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Looks like it is still a viable offense to me
zevo Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 That is def the way to win with the bills....Wilson made big throws when it counted....we don't have that....yet
Dorkington Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Pretty sure a botched onside kick recovery, a lucky 2 point conversion, and a few timely deep bombs won the game.... also.
PearlHowardman Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Ground and pound did not get Seattle and Green Bay to the conference championship game. Two elite quarterbacks did. And the Buffalo Bills do not have an elite quarterback.
Kelly the Dog Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Pretty sure a botched onside kick recovery, a lucky 2 point conversion, and a few timely deep bombs won the game.... also. and great coaching and a fake FG TD and some stupidity by GB and...
bladiebla Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Does it matter, it's the NFC... We're NFC North champs by all means...
Wayne Cubed Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 And some bad coaching in the second half by GB and a coin flip that saw Seattle get the ball first..
PearlHowardman Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 An NFL team making the playoffs is one thing. An NFL team making the conference championship and/or Super Bowl is something different. If an NFL team doesn't have a good to great quarterback, you'll never make it to the conference championship and/or Super Bowl.
bladiebla Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Wilson was horrible the entire game, except when it counted. But don't forget that there was a QB with a 10 QB Rating before those last two TDs.

bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 EJ could have played that bad. Beast mode worked Just think if buddy nix hadn't screwed up on taking TJ instead of Wilson
prissythecat Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 An NFL team making the playoffs is one thing. An NFL team making the conference championship and/or Super Bowl is something different. If an NFL team doesn't have a good to great quarterback, you'll never make it to the conference championship and/or Super Bowl. The Ravens won a Super Bowl with Trent Dilfer . The Bucs won one with Brad Johnson. Jets made two AFC championships with Sanchize . Giants beat us in the Super Bowl with Hostetler . So your broad generalization doesn't hold water.
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Mike McCarthy kicking a field goal from the 1 foot line was more important. What a stupid decision.
BringBackFergy Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Ground and pound can work...who do you suggest is our "pounder" (like Lacy or Lynch)....Boobie?
John from Riverside Posted January 19, 2015 Author Posted January 19, 2015 I like the backs we have....need bullies in front of them blocking the way
Section242 Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Good thing the GB defender gave himself up after the int.
Solomon Grundy Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Ground and pound did not get Seattle and Green Bay to the conference championship game. Two elite quarterbacks did. And the Buffalo Bills do not have an elite quarterback. Eddie Lacy and Marshawn Lynch were important pieces to the Championship puzzle
Profitspro Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Ground and pound is relevant for victory. Remember that we beat this same Green Bay team with a style almost similar to Green Bay. Wilson was adequate in this game with their Def and Orton was serviceable in our game with our dominating Def.
