Hapless Bills Fan Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 @HJKforever: Just two QB's hanging out and getting some snowmobiling in during the off-season! #brotherhood http://t.co/HjZQJJFMoE Whaley connection.... Needs re-signed... Interesting. Last year, there was this article on Overthecap about Ben's contract and the Steelers cap situation: http://overthecap.com/steelers-salary-cap-ben-roethlisberger/ On the other hand, the developmental QB they have on the roster is....Landry Jones? They would have to really like him, and draft someone they like as well.

Deranged Rhino Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 And the insanity continues .. It simply isn't curable with logic, extreme examples .. It's the lottery disease. That's not what WebMD says. It's telling me that it's definitely ebola.
NoSaint Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 There is a 0.1% chance of this happening. Big Ben just had his best season of his career. They support hjm when he was taking girls in bathrooms while his bodyguards watched. Why would they give up on him now that he is a "family man"? Teams don't give up on franchise Qbs unless there is a major problem. Teams are willing to get rid of guys like Cutler or Orton because they aren't good enough. Your best bet to find a franchise qb is through the draft. Really the only reason is he'd be entering free agency at 34 years old and has not had the most pampered career with hits. It's a real long shot but if negotiations are looking ugly, and he's made enough enemies in Pittsburgh, it's possible you hear some anti Ben groundswell in the building. I'm not banking on that but I'd put it just a tiny bit above impossible.

Deranged Rhino Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Impossible. It was a nice dream while it lasted.
K D Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 holding out hope for Eli or Cam. if they aren't willing to get rid of him now I'm sure the Saints will be ready to deal Brees after the horrible year he will have. RG3 will probably be available for cheap. we have options next yr i think
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 (edited) Kelly is from East Brady unless I am wrong that is near P-burgh interesting thought ... but not plausible IMO but who knows this seems to be the year of the trade Edited March 14, 2015 by BillsFan-4-Ever
