george c Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 The stadium is a horrible design to begin with. The sideline seats before the angle bleachersaround the goal line face forward, and not at an angle. You get a stiff neck watching the play down field.
Big Turk Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Why bother, they have to give away half the tickets anyway every game to keep their "sellout streak" alive
DC Tom Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 I wonder how that roof's going to stand up to a hurricane.
BarleyNY Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 It looks like a giant aquarium, which I guess is fitting.
BrooklynBills Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 It looks like a soccer stadium. Which I like. I think the Seahawks stadium is a good blueprint for what the Bills should do.
KRT88 Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 If nothing else, that's one hell of a nice pamphlet. Gotta agree here. Looks like this will be a great stadium when done. Dramatic reduction in seats taking out all four upper corners.
sodbuster Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 (edited) I wonder how that roof's going to stand up to a hurricane. The first thing i thought when i saw it was "wow, that flat roof wouldn't shed any snow, so that couldn't work up here," and I didn't even think about hurricanes. Probably turn into a giant sail. Edited January 18, 2015 by sodbuster
Captain_Quint Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 (edited) So instead of seat licenses, they're taking all of the current season ticket holders seats away and having everyone pick new ones based on tenure. Not a bad idea for some of the smaller markets or teams that have trouble filling a stadium. Edited January 18, 2015 by Captain_Quint
firemedic Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Shape of the roof blows, does not look like it was planned at all (rounded corners, angles, solar panels, anything?)
eball Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 (edited) I'll definitely plan on making a trip down there for a Bills game in 2016 or 2017... Edited January 18, 2015 by eball
HOUSE Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 I'll definitely plan on making a trip down there for a Bills game in 2016 or 2017... Hopefully I will see you there........I go every year
Chandler#81 Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 FWIW - I actually think that it is architecturally and structurally interesting. By the way, in case you did not know, the biggest impact on the Bills will be that the stands will be brought closer to the field - in other words, it will be louder. Which is great for us, since Bills fans outnumber Dolphin fans there.
TheLynchTrain Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 (edited) Wait a second - is their President really named Garfinkel?!! I immediately thought of Ace Ventura and thought this was an elaborate joke before looking it up myself. Edited January 18, 2015 by TheLynchTrain
