HOUSE Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 (edited) ESPN: Chicago Bears With multiple teams around the NFL appearing to need quarterbacks -- such as Buffalo, the New York Jets, Houston, Tennessee and possibly Cleveland -- trading Cutler would seem a logical move, too. But the Bears would need a contingency plan in place before trying to make such a deal. The problem with trading Cutler is receiving fair compensation, as teams interested in acquiring the quarterback know the Bears would be desperate to dump his large contract. So if the Bears decide to move Cutler, they’d have to do so knowing they’re not likely to receive fair value. But the money freed up could allow Chicago to build in other areas, namely the defense. - Statistically, Cutler produced one of his best seasons in 2014, completing a career-best 66 percent of his throws for a career-high 28 touchdowns. Cutler’s 3,812 passing yards ranked as second best of his career, and he finished the season with a passer rating of 88.6, which registers as his second-best rating in nine NFL seasons.SNIP http://espn.go.com/blog/chicago/bears/post/_/id/4696984/john-fox-hiring-done-now-time-to-focus-on-jay-cutlers-future Edited January 17, 2015 by HOUSE
C.Biscuit97 Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Haha. It's hilarious how we trash some qbs, yet people make a ton of excuses for this guy. Yeah, multiple teams get rid of a qb because he's good. He's barely over .500, been to the playoffs once, loves turnovers, & is a d bag. But let's pay him $15 million!

C.Biscuit97 Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Buffalo could pay him 5 mil THEN the bears have to pick up the rest And it will be great until he turns the ball over in the redbone multiple times or fumbles and puts the defense in a bad position. But at least he is a good leader.

Call me when a Buffalo QB gets close to 30 TD's please.
HOUSE Posted January 17, 2015 Author Posted January 17, 2015 Not a fan of Cutler, I am just the messenger
C.Biscuit97 Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Call me when a Buffalo QB gets close to 30 TD's please. Agreed. Cutler's td passes are more important than wins. Russell Wilson needs to focus on getting more td passes than stupid wins.
truth on hold Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 "Since he's screwed Bears immediate future, we might as well focus on his."
Buffaloed in Pa Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Not here for the Baldwin Brothers illegitimate brother. Pouty, non leader. 25 mill a year ? Get real.

Wins have nothing to do with the team around you. Just a QB stat. Still more playoff wins than any QB in Buffalo.
somnus00 Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Cutler is this era's Jeff George. He has all world talant but the disposition of a lobotomized patient.
