FluffHead Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Per schefter, the jets have hired Todd "Smokin'" Bowles are their HC
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 I wonder if the Seahawk coordinators will be left out in the cold.
FluffHead Posted January 14, 2015 Author Posted January 14, 2015 @AlbertBreer: Jets were impressed with, among other things, the staff ideas Todd Bowles had. Chan Gailey a strong possibility to be offensive coordinator.
Jobu Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Poor Doug Marrone. He could still get the Bears job. I know all of my Packer fan friends are hoping for this outcome.
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Poor Doug Marrone. Sometimes justice prevails!
Reed83HOF Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Ian Rapoport @RapSheet 1m1 minute ago Look for Chan Gailey to be the new OC for newly hired #Jets coach Todd Bowles, which is an intriguing choice.
dave mcbride Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Re Marrone, presumably he can bring Schwartz in tow, which would make him more appealing in a place like Chicago, which is very defensive minded historically.
Mr. WEO Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 I wonder if the Seahawk coordinators will be left out in the cold. They will find solace in SB rings
Peter Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Good for Marrone. Good for Chan. He deserves to be in the league. He also is a much classier guy than Saint Doug.
Johnny Hammersticks Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Re Marrone, presumably he can bring Schwartz in tow, which would make him more appealing in a place like Chicago, which is very defensive minded historically. Interestingly, I could see the vacant Arizona DC job to be very appealing to Schwartz.
FluffHead Posted January 14, 2015 Author Posted January 14, 2015 Arizona will hire dick Lebeau as their DC IMO
dave mcbride Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Interestingly, I could see the vacant Arizona DC job to be very appealing to Schwartz. I agree, but Arians is apparently already talking with Lebeau.
purple haze Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 They're flipping out on the Jets' message board about Gailey. Gailey is actually a good choice. Especially for a team that has little offensive talent. He'll scheme them into some production and points.
Beef Jerky Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Ian Rapoport @RapSheet 1m1 minute ago Look for Chan Gailey to be the new OC for newly hired #Jets coach Todd Bowles, which is an intriguing choice. Hahaha this will be great sweeping the Jets twice a year.
Fan in Chicago Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 He could still get the Bears job. As he said, poor Doug Marrone
