That's actually a serious injury. I'm shocked he was able to play.

agreed.

assuming it heals well, i suspect he may give another go to end on a higher note... though maybe he wont want to risk injury again if it was as miserable as it sounds.

Had a feeling he was hurt, He took a nose dive off the cliff and it usually dosent happen THAT fast. If they get rid of Fox I think Manning will retire.

Makes sense, considering how the Broncos offense abruptly shifted to a power running game and short passes while rarely stretching the field the last few regular season games.

I get that it is a bad injury but am laughing at everyone pointing the finger at him for the loss. The Denver D stank the field up.

I hope he comes back with a new HC and goes out on a better note...

Dwnver fans booing him off the field was sick to watch

it really was. I understand being disappointed but geez

He was obviously toast all December. It was sad to watch. I am very glad it was an injury and not simply his age.

I hope he comes back. Peyton is the best ever and has significant class unlike those cheaters out on the east coast whom deserve an asterisks next to every victory and record they "earned"

If he was really that injured, then he was very selfish by playing. He was throwing absolutely ducks last night. I get it, he's Peyton. But a torn muscle and still playing likely didn't give his team the best chance to win.

i don't know... Hard to say if Osweiler would have been better. No way to know. He did throw some Peyton-like passes.
