How is possibly hiring a good OC dumb? People are letting the fact he wasn't a great head coach affect their judgment. Jim Schwartz wasn't a great head coach but was a great DC this year.

His schemes were only successful because of super talented players like David Nelson, Donald Jones, and Ryan Fitzpatrick.

There is the thing of being "just another coach" & all of those teams are on the outside looking in at the play offs every year because they have "just another coach" but then there are the other guy's that are for real NFL HC's that come in from day one & change the team because they know how to use what talent that have ! Like Harbaugh , Arians , the other Harbaugh , Bellichek , McCarthy & so on ...
