truth on hold Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 I see it the other way; I think manning wanted fox out. Now he'll come back
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Expect Adam Gase to get the HCing job in Denver, and looks like Manning is also gone if they are going cheaper I literally just heard a theory on Philly sports radio that the Broncos are so desperate to keep Gase (who they think will convince Manning not to retire) that they might force him out...and now Fox is gone.
thewildrabbit Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 The Broncos fire their HC for going 12-4, wins the division and the Bills just hired a HC that went 4-12, and was last in the division....
Deranged Rhino Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Shanny might go to Denver now, assuming Manning doesn't retire. It'd be poetic.
FireChan Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 The Broncos fire their HC for going 12-4, wins the division and the Bills just hired a HC that went 4-12, and was last in the division.... What's with you and these false dichotomies and spins?
Buffalo Barbarian Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Laconfora saying" expect a lot younger and a lot cheaper" roster next year Sweet this could happen
thewildrabbit Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 need to change the title of the topic, as Fox mutually agreed to part ways = not fired
FluffHead Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 need to change the title of the topic, as Fox mutually agreed to part ways = not fired Same difference
boyst Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 No no. It was mutual. They said it is mutual. ESPN - Breaking: Denver Broncos and coach John Fox have mutually agreed to part ways, a source told Adam Schefter Well Marrone to Denver would be !@#$ing awesomely terriblr
FluffHead Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 (edited) Mutually agree is just code for we used to like you and you did an ok job so we won't embarrass you but now you're fired @PSchrags: "Parting ways" is the new "Conscious Uncoupling". cale Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 I expect Fox will end up in ATL. He still has strong ties in NC. I also expect the Jets and Bears will make a run at him. He's exactly what the Bears need. C
Kelly the Dog Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 need to change the title of the topic, as Fox mutually agreed to part ways = not fired "Do you want to walk out peacefully or do we need to call security."

CC: @AdamSchefter +1. What's in a name? That which we call a rose/ By any other name would smell as sweet. Shakespeare had it right a long time ago. You can call it whatever you want. Fox just got canned.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Fox to Atlanta now??? Might as well re-hire mike smith.
thewildrabbit Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 This is similar to Harbaugh mutually agreeing to leave the 49ers. Anyway, I get the feeling that both the 49ers, and Broncos will regret these moves
reddogblitz Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 John Elway just making room for Adam Gase.
Rocky Landing Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Would we have rather gotten Fox over Rex? Thoughts?
thewildrabbit Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 There are already talks that fox will end up in Chicago, and Gase will be the new Broncos HC.
Saint Doug Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 +1. What's in a name? That which we call a rose/ By any other name would smell as sweet. Shakespeare had it right a long time ago. You can call it whatever you want. Fox just got canned. Aren't coaches salaries guaranteed unless they themselves quit (except for the unmentionable one)? I highly doubt someone would walk away from that much money (unless compromising photographs were involved).
