The Real Buffalo Joe Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 He's not my ideal candidate, but I'd take him.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Curious why you say that. Didn't sanchez basically sink rex? No Woody did by forcing Tebow when Rex didn't want him then a GM who didn't want Sanchez and drafted Geno. Rex wanted to stick with Sanchez hell he has a Tattoo of him on his arm plus Sanchez still loves Rex.
C.Biscuit97 Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 sure a roll the dice with a guy who has done nothing and can't hit the broadside of a barn bet he would EJ has done more than your BFFs Bortles, Skelton, & Johnny Bench.
deadbeef Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Sanchez is no improvement over EJ. EJ has more room to improve. EJ's work ethic and smarts separate him from most of the QB busts like Sanchez...

MDH Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 (edited) Still better than EJ ? Only because he plays for a different team. Have you watched Sanchez play or seen stat line before his year with Chip Kelly? Before this year his best completion percentage was 56.7%. Every other year with the Jets his completion percentage was below 55%. And you're saying Manuel can't hit the broadside of a barn? So Sanchez can't hit his own guys with any consistency AND turns the ball over with alarming regularity and somehow he's "better." Edited January 12, 2015 by MDH
Buffalo Barbarian Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 oops merged Only because he plays for a different team. EJ stole his girlfriend or gave him a wedgie. please EJ can't even make a pass at my wife EJ has done more than your BFFs Bortles, Skelton, & Johnny Bench. Bortles is 10x the QB ej is, you are just mad that you are wrong
HOUSE Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 There are posibilities here....Could be Sanchez, Hoyer, or even Kyle Orton
papazoid Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 if sanchez was any good, rex would still be a jet.
C.Biscuit97 Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 There are posibilities here....Could be Sanchez, Hoyer, or even Kyle Orton That is depressing
MDH Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 There are posibilities here....Could be Sanchez, Hoyer, or even Kyle Orton Of those three I'd take Hoyer.
CountDorkula Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 if sanchez was any good, rex would still be a jet. Bingo. Do people forget the Sanchez was the butt of evrey joke? <--- see what I did there. People were laughing at the Jets. Y'all want a guy who has proven that with a great defense, he cant get it done?
dave mcbride Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Sanchez's last season in NY: http://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/nyj/2012.htm . Note the final game of the season along with the QB stats and fumble stats (in the RB/WR section). I have to think that Rex is fully done with Sanchez.
Bookie Man Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 I'm all for open competition. But I do feel like EJ fits more in a Rex system. I was down on EJ this season, but considering the talent out in FA, he may be the best option. And that I might be ok with that.
Kirby Jackson Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Like?Bradford, RGIII, Cutler, Locker, maybe even Kaepernick I think that those are all realistic possibilities (not so much Kaep). Any of the guys that you are looking at either via trade or FA will come with questions marks. Some are health related and others have provided inconsistent play. You aren't finding the perfect guy but you may catch lightning in a bottle. The Bills are going to have to get a little lucky. I'd rather take my chances that Bradford can stay healthy over Sanchez not turning it over. It is the more likely of 2 unlikely scenarios.
Captain Hindsight Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 I said yes because I think he will be the best FA available and we need help at that position even if its just as a backup. As for managing the offense, he's had his moments and maybe he learned something this year and last year being a little less in the spotlight. I wouldn't hate the move, but I definitely not banging down the door until he is wearing a Bills jersey
HalftimeAdjustment Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 How is EJ's footwork? If it is a problem, Rex should be able to coach him up.

Would they trade him even with the Chiefs for Smith? i do not even understand where the rumors come from.He had one crap year, his other three were stellar.
