The Frankish Reich Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Just a thought... Rex has the same agent as Marrone. Also the same agent as Adam Schefter. Not surprising that Schef would be the first to reports this*, especially for those that remember how the Marrone news first came out way back when he was hired. *well, second after Leroi! I realize Buffalo isn't NYC or LA, but those types of comments are just ignorant tripe. He can say that because Bart Scott's hometown, Detroit, is the foodie capital of southeastern Michigan.
Punch Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 For the last time. Rex WILL not go to a team that does not have the quarterback situation in place . NOTThe Bills.. According to...?
Solomon Grundy Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 If it's true that Rex and Trestman are a package deal then that's a huge win for this team. We're essentially fixing our offense while maintaining an elite defense with a coach that players love to play for. This is great, but I wanna know who he's bringing with him to coach the offensive line?
The Frankish Reich Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 According to...? Right now I'm putting my money on Leroi. Doug "Leroi" Whaley that is. (Or is it Terry "Leroi" Pegula?)
FluffHead Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 If Rex comes here I just hope he gets fat again. FAT REX > skinny Rex
The Frankish Reich Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 If Rex comes here I just hope he gets fat again. FAT REX > skinny Rex Fat Rex ruled. They can undo or loosen up that lap band thing to make room for wings, right?
The Big Cat Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 (edited) He can say that because Bart Scott's hometown, Detroit, is the foodie capital of southeastern Michigan. Hardly compares to those other NFL cultural Meccas Kansas City, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Green Bay, Tampa Bay and, of course, Oakland. Edited January 11, 2015 by The Big Cat
Punch Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Question. Not that I'm doubting you but isn't Roman stil technically employed by SF? If the next coach comes in and wants to keep Roman he can't come to Buffalo. Roman has been granted permission to interview for other open OC positions in the League. It appears to be a formality that San Fran would let him walk, unlike (apparently) Schwartz in Buffalo.
Best Player Available Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Hardly compares to those other NFL cultural Meccas Kansas City, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Green Bay, Tampa Bay and, of course, Oakland. My guess is you don't get Out of the house much? But I understand.
Chandler#81 Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 ... Tried to show pic going viral of Rex in Bills coaching garb. Didn't work.. Got it via text and don't know how to save/upload it.. Anyway, it's out there.
Beef Jerky Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Hehe people question Rex's defensive ability... Thinking he will do anything but make this defense the #1 in the league is laughable.
truth on hold Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Fat Rex ruled. They can undo or loosen up that lap band thing to make room for wings, right? steady diet of wings + blue cheese + genny cream will blow off those wings
Niagara Dude Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 My sources say Rexy is playing the Bills To the Atl post it Your sources are dead wrong dude

K D Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Wait what did I miss? Who is Leroi? This is epic. Pure gold my man
The Frankish Reich Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Hardly compares to those other NFL cultural Meccas Kansas City, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Green Bay, Tampa Bay and, of course, Oakland. Green Bay is a complete dump. I'm still amazed that it's considered a desirable spot for NFL free agents. They need a sustained losing streak and we'll see how popular it is -- it'll be just like the post Bart Starr, pre Favre days again with games being played in Milwaukee.
jahbonas Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 If the OC from sanfran comes in - may indicate we try to win like Rex did early - big defense and power running game - we may go after Sanfran OG Mike Iupati
Niagara Dude Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Your sources are dead wrong dude Rex is on the brink of being the highest paid Bills coach in Team history and that is from my inside sources. This will get done within 48 hours, so go find Altanta another coach maybe Marrone
John from Riverside Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Rex wanting to come to Buffalo makes sense. He hates the Patriots, he would probably like to stick it to the Jets twice a year as well. He is a defensive coach that will inherit a top 5 defense. He probably is the most qualified candidate that would actually sign a contract with Buffalo. Not many Head Coach candidates want to come to Buffalo , most use the Bills to practice their interviewing skills and use them to put pressure on the team they really want to coach. Coaches dont want to come here based on what? Provide your source
