Beef Jerky Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 We would be better off if Ryan doesn't bring his guys to run the offense. he doesn't know **** about it. I know we could do worse than Ryan but if this is true I don't think I would be excited. Ryan is a poor clock and situation managers and won't be an upgrade over Marrone in that regard. You wouldn't want Trestman?
fridge Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter 43s44 seconds ago Bills are bringing back former Jets HC Rex Ryan for a second interview tonight in Florida, per league sources. League source = Leroi
Jamie Nails Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Leroi- this is your make or break post, dude. 14 posts and you come with this. Better be solid. Congrats. Good info. Your spot of the tbd trust-o-meter just shot up
jahbonas Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Ian Rapoport reported on NFL Network's NFL GameDay Morning, per a source informed of Ryan's plans, that the former Jets coach wants to team up with Marc Trestman, the recently fired Bears coach. The feeling appears to be mutual.
Fixxxer Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 You wouldn't want Trestman? Is that your choice or Ryan's?
TheZone78 Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 I love the information guys on this board. Nice job Leroi.
stevestojan Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 The two things this team needs are a head coach with some balls and a QB. While I would much prefer fat Rex, I'll settle for skinny Rex. Now, a QB.
aristocrat Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 I just don't want him messing with the defense too much. Keep jimbo but I'm on the fence about trestman.
YoloinOhio Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 @MMehtaNYDN: Rex Ryan is meeting with Bills officials tonight, source confirms, as @AdamSchefter said. Falcons "dragging their feet," per source #nyj
OldNMBillsFan Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Wow. You have a severe case of inferiority complex. I genuinely think you should see someone about that. Sorry if it hurts. Its just my opinion and I am calling it like I see it. Past hiring's prove my statement. Just trying to be realistic about who they will hire. I no longer live in the area, so no inferiority complex here.
uncle flap Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 so falcons dragging their feet might mean rex is just using bills as leverage huh?
RyanC883 Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 I just heard that Rex is scheduled for a second interview next week. He is our favorite candidate. Gregg Roman is also our #1 choice for OC if we hire Rex. Should be a awesome package. Let's hope it works out. Imo I read on ESPN that Rex wants Trestman for OC?!? What happens to Schwartz then?

Pegula has no reputation as a guy who interferes and he can pay top dollar to head coach and to staff under him - whole new regime - whole new ball game !!
TAinLack. Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Leroi's 14th post > all my posts combined LOL, me too.
The Frankish Reich Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Leroi scooped Schefter by about 45 minutes if my math is right? I'm takin' Leroi's picks to Vegas!
