Born in 30's not from the 30's http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dave_Smith_%28fullback%29 Smith has been a scout for the Buffalo Bills from 1992 until the present (22 years) He played for Oilers in first AFL Championship game and caught first TD ever in AFL Championship game. He is 77 now and sounds more like a retirement than a firing. No I do not know what his middle initial is. I have an old program he signed but he just signed it Dave Smith.'
