Deranged Rhino Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 I know the media cannot stop talking about Trump, but this is kind of a huge deal here. More proof that living under constant surveillance has done nothing to make us safer from terror attacks. People need to wake up.

keepthefaith Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 More proof that living under constant surveillance has done nothing to make us safer from terror attacks. People need to wake up. When this is done, we're going to learn that several others both inside and outside of the country were involved and that law enforcement could have prevented this and were tipped off in advance that this was in the works.
4merper4mer Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 I know the media cannot stop talking about Trump, but this is kind of a huge deal here. It could have just been a loan he took himself. It might mean demonstrate that he knew he'd be doing this soon, but there is more than enough evidence for that already. If they had or do find that the transfer came from someone else that could be a big deal.

If they had or do find that the transfer came from someone else that could be a big deal. It would be odd & stupid for someone else to funnel the money through Web Bank. A $28K transfer triggers a lot of reporting requirements and that money is easier to trace the origins. Having said that, for a guy with a $51K salary and little assets, $28K is a pretty big line of credit.

I wouldn't be surprised. Same thing happened with Boston and Paris. Mass domestic surveillance has NEVER been about keeping Americans safe from terrorists, it's always been about protecting the federal government from its own people.
Nanker Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 And what the money was used for if anything. Probably had to pay his Obamacare premium for 2016.
Deranged Rhino Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 Right on cue: second up after guns is the attack on the first and fourth amendments-- Meanwhile, Clinton, the Democratic presidential frontrunner, gave a talk at the Brookings Institution where she urged tech companies to deny ISIS “online space,” and waved away concerns about First Amendment issues. “We’re going to have to have more support from our friends in the technology world to deny online space. Just as we have to destroy [iSIS’s] would-be caliphate, we have to deny them online space,” she said. “And this is complicated. You’re going to hear all of the usual complaints, you know, freedom of speech, et cetera. But if we truly are in a war against terrorism and we are truly looking for ways to shut off their funding, shut off the flow of foreign fighters, then we’ve got to shut off their means of communicating. It’s more complicated with some of what they do on encrypted apps, and I’m well aware of that, and that requires even more thinking about how to do it.” https://theintercept.com/2015/12/07/obama-hints-at-renewed-pressure-on-encryption-clinton-waves-off-first-amendment/

Take away their social media.

She's Eric Holder II which is no surprise. The Justice department is the civil right department. Obama has actually used many of the federal agencies to further his various screwy agendas.
TakeYouToTasker Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 From a First and Fourh Amendment standpoint how is this any different than the gay wedding cake issue?
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 From a First and Fourh Amendment standpoint how is this any different than the gay wedding cake issue? If Hussein has proven anything it's that the amendments are meaningless.

GG Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 I mean seriously, WTF? Don't worry, heads aren't rolling down the stairs yet.

keepthefaith Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 I mean seriously, WTF? It is the Republican's fault since they blocked any effort to encarcerate Gitmo folks in US prisons. Obama had no choice but to let him go.
