FBI: On Second Thought, New Orleans Terrorist Acted Alone

Ed Morrissey

Second thought? Third thought? No thinking at all?

Yesterday morning, FBI spokesperson Alethea Duncan directly contradicted both the mayor of New Orleans and the chief of police in declaring that the mass-murder attack by truck wasn't a terrorist act. By the afternoon, the same agent declared that not only was it a terror attack, but that Shamsud-din Jabbar had several accomplices who helped place two explosives in the area.

Now, the FBI has decided that Jabbar acted on his own, after paying closer attention to the videos that prompted the earlier conclusion:

.

Now the fbi will chase pointless domestic terrorist ties to some innocent American to create a smoke screen.

What you mean “we,” kemo sabe?

By Scott Johnson

Allstate CEO and board chairman Tom Wilson had a message for viewers of yesterday’s Sugar Bowl in New Orleans. Referring to the Bourbon Street terrorist attack, Wilson seemed to have taken our measure and found us wanting: “We also need to be stronger together by overcoming an addiction to divisiveness and negativity. Join Allstate, working in local communities all across America to amplify the positive, increase trust, and accept people’s imperfections and differences.”

What you mean “we,” kemo sabe? He’s not talking about himself. I think he’s talking about “you.”

He’s lecturing us. What have “we” done? “We” have done something wrong.

{snip}

As Wilson’s statement attracted a certain backlash, Allstate responded to a request from Fox News Digital for a comment. Allstate framed its comment as a clarification: “To be clear, Allstate CEO Tom Wilson unequivocally condemns this heinous act of terrorism and violence in all forms. We stand with the families of the victims, their loved ones and the community of New Orleans. The reference to overcoming divisiveness and negativity reflects a broader commitment to fostering trust and positivity in communities across the nation.”

Allstate presents as yet another example of woke corporate stupidity and cowardice.

It’s not in good hands.

First American-Israeli hostage Keith Siegel
freed by Hamas after 484 days in captivity

by Mathew Sedacca

American-Israeli Keith Siegel was released by Hamas Saturday morning in the latest hostage-for-prisoner swaps — making him the first US citizen freed by the terror group under the ongoing cease-fire deal.

Siegel was released just before 10:30 a.m. local time when the Red Cross organized his release with Hamas after he spent the last 484 days in captivity.

Siegel, 65, an occupational therapist from Chapel Hill, N.C., was kidnapped along with his wife, Aviva, when Hamas raided their home on Kibbutz Kfar Aza on Oct. 7, 2023.

The huge crowds of people that were mocking the released hostages didn’t look that thirsty - except maybe for blood.

RABBI MICHAEL BARCLAY: 500 Days We Must Never Forget.

“Five-hundred days.

Exactly 500 days ago, the world saw some of the most evil and heinous crimes ever perpetrated by humanity.

Hamas attacked Israel from Gaza.

They didn’t attack military bases or soldiers.

Instead, they demonstrated themselves to be the personification of evil as they consciously attacked civilians — specifically the weak, old, female, and sick.”

CNN's Kaitlan Collins didn't do much better with her reporting of the impending hostage release.

How did they die, Kaitlan?

Here's the short version: Hamas killed a mother and 2 babies.
