Islamic Terrorism

I read it accurately. You just said something incorrect and rather than admit you, you tried to shift the conversation.

It wasn't a myth. The Germans were being !@#$ed with. They just ignored the treaty.

Of course it's funny you're saying it's "largely a myth" when you said early history doesn't lie.

I'm trying not to take sides in your DR-GG slap fight...but DR (and TYTT) are right in this case. The simplest argument is that it's difficult, at least, to say that a reparations system that incites a foreign invasion, causes the collapse of two financial and foreign policy plans (Dawes and Young), and takes 90 years to pay off is probably pretty damned onerous.

Which is not to say Weimar didn't shoot themselves in the foot - they pursued rather stupid policies to evade reparations by committing fraud or tanking the German economy. And a huge chunk of reparation payments came from diverted foreign aid or defaults on war debt...which in itself demonstrates the reparations burden, in that it presented a very significant inhibition on other spending.

Censoring the internet isn't enough for May...

Stay strong, England. And resist this rubbish.

Theresa May: UK will change human rights laws if needed for terror fight

If this were happening in America you'd be calling it garbage, not rubbish. Stop trying to act all European and just be yourself.

I'm guessing his response was directed at me.

Iran is a state sponsor of terror. If indeed it was ISIS attacking them, it's karmic justice.

That innocent people get killed? Sort of like how Nazis are choir boys. You are an idiot

So it's funny when American diplomats are killed in a terrorist attack, but not when Iranian politicians are killed in a terrorist attack.

Do you have some sort of a chart or document that outlines all these "funny/not funny" rules, or are you making it up as you go along?

I never said it was funny they got killed, I said it was funny how the right was trying to make political capital out of the killings. But sh it spreads, huh?

Got that?

Calling an attack on a 'state sponsor of terror' karmic justice is a slippery slope.

Don't say what you really mean. Let us all think you are an intellectual and that we are too dumb to understand your genius.

It's a bit over the line to do that, not feeling much but kinda numb and sick of it all, awaiting the next situation...

Iran rejects Trump's condolences after terror attack, calls statement 'repugnant'

Iran's powerful Revolutionary Guard indirectly blamed Saudi Arabia for the attacks. A statement issued Wednesday evening stopped short of alleging direct Saudi involvement but called it "meaningful" that the attacks followed Trump's visit to Saudi Arabia, where he strongly asserted Washington's support for Riyadh.

The statement said Saudi Arabia "constantly supports" terrorists including the Islamic State group, adding that the IS claim of responsibility "reveals (Saudi Arabia's) hand in this barbaric action."

The "spilled blood of the innocent will not remain unavenged," the Revolutionary Guard statement said.
