Lurker Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 This just in: owners are more powerful than employees (coaches), regardless of how "in demand" they think they are. I suspect a very pissed Pegs might prompt his 31 other "partners" to perhaps look a little unkindly on St. Doug at the moment. Not saying he won't get a job, but it's not a smart bargaining strategy to think "I'm so talented they'd be a fool not to hire me..."
BillsBackersChicago Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Man, like whaley or not, it sure does seem easier to looking for a head coach with a GM in place. Jets and Bears seem to be having a hell of a time and losing a lot of ground on other teams as they try and fill their GM spot before they fill their coaching spot.
SDS Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 And then he will announce that the CFL is really his "dream job" because you can punt on 3rd down. Sorry man. I'm stealing this.
jr1 Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 No owner wants Marrone's awful fashion sense representing their team
Manther Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 I continue to support the conspiracy theory that Marrone wanted to bolt for the Jets job all year knowing he had the opt-out, and therefore auditioned for them with his only good offensive performances of the year in those two games. o_O And then he will announce that the CFL is really his "dream job" because you can punt on 3rd down. Awesome!

YoloinOhio Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Sorry man. I'm stealing this. That will cost you 4 mill, a bunch of bucket hats and tub of Skoal.
SDS Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 That will cost you 4 mill, a bunch of bucket hats and tub of Skoal. already tweeted.
DC Tom Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 already tweeted. Should've negotiated a better out clause, Yolo.

Canadian Bills Fan Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Should've negotiated a better out clause, Yolo. Obviously. We arent all saints you know! CBF
seq004 Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Maybe Atlanta. I'm not sure how much we can trust ICB tweet though.
PS 56 Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 If we all just could have kept our mouths shut about how clueless he was, the Jets would have hired him. Unfortunately it was not just us! The New York media was already slamming the choice....
Canadian Bills Fan Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 I think if he gets anything less than a HC gig it will be a moral win for us. CBF
BUNCH OF MULARKEY Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 I'm not convinced there's still not a handshake agreement in place with woody. Those slime balls are just stalling to hire him after a GM is in place to downplay the tampering allegations. Obviously.

Those slime balls are just stalling to hire him after a GM is in place to downplay the tampering allegations. Obviously. Obviously that would be even more fitting. How great would it be if Woody backed out of a handshake deal with Marrone, after the reports that Marrone backed out of one with Pegula?
Maybe Someday Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Good I hope he ends up in Pee Wee Football. That’s cold. What did the kids ever do to you to deserve that, lol???
Canadian Bills Fan Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 (edited) I would laugh if the only offers he got were for position coach CBF Edited January 5, 2015 by Canadian Bills Fan
