Beef Jerky Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 So the Bills can't even make it to the playoffs and yet would take a guy who can't win once you're in?
HOUSE Posted January 5, 2015 Author Posted January 5, 2015 So the Bills can't even make it to the playoffs and yet would take a guy who can't win once you're in? Just another long list of Options. You can't blame it all on Dalton, injuries hurt the Bengals on offense.
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Ahhhh yes. The old "slightly better is still better even when it's still not good enough" argument.... Love that one
Uffalo Ills Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Just saying.............. http://nesn.com/2014/01/cincinnati-bengals-should-start-looking-for-new-quarterback-because-andy-dalton-has-serious-playoff-problems/ This article is so inaccurate, i find it hard to trust...They played the Colts not the Chargers and the score was 26-10...
Beef Jerky Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Just another long list of Options. You can't blame it all on Dalton, injuries hurt the Bengals on offense. I do b.c it wasn't just yesterday. It has been every year.
ProcessAccepted Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 They do not have our defense. Dalton is not the guy you would pick if you could have Luck or Rodgers but he is a huge upgrade on what we have. I do not see the Bengals replacing him. They've experienced the post Palmer years looking for the next guy, there's no way they make the move without having the replacement in hand.
1billsfan Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Noooooooooooooo!!!!!!!! Andy Dalton turns to mush whenever there is pressure bigger than a regular season game. I'd much rather have Mark Sanchez, who actually plays good enough to win road playoff games.
bmur66 Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 You know that article is a year old right? Not that it matters. I'd take him in a heartbeat though.
4merper4mer Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 This article is so inaccurate, i find it hard to trust...They played the Colts not the Chargers and the score was 26-10... That's because it is from last year.
CardinalScotts Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 depends on what your trying to accomplish.....build a winner that can compete for the super bowl- I wouldnt touch him. Leak into the playoffs and then exit the next week - ya he'll get you right there 9 10 wins.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 I will literally take anyone at this point.
Maddog69 Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 I'd be happy with Dalton as our QB. He's not great, but he is certainly better than any of the alternatives that have been suggested so far.
Hapless Bills Fan Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 (edited) Just saying.............. Apparently the Bengals MIGHT be interested in changing QB's. http://nesn.com/2014/01/cincinnati-bengals-should-start-looking-for-new-quarterback-because-andy-dalton-has-serious-playoff-problems/ Can we please quit with this stuff? The Bengals will undoubtedly look to upgrade at QB. Dalton needs Green to look competent. That said, NO team is going to shed the best QB they have until someone proven better is in place. Mallett, Foles, Dalton etc etc will NOT be available, even if their respective teams draft Mariota or trade for Cutler, who is also not going to be available except as a high-ticket trade item unless he stages some sort of high-stakes hissy fit. Because injuries, value of competition, you never quite know how someone will work out until they start playing, etc etc Edited January 5, 2015 by Hopeful

I remember Sanchez from the Jets. The playoff years there was so much talent around him that hid his issues. What happened in the years of the butt fumble are a more accurate picture of the player.

He is probably the best available option for the Bills to add at this point.

prissythecat Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 We got 9 wins. With the talent we have specifically on defense he'd win playoff games The Bengals have had a very talented defense and offense. This year they had injury issues going into playoffs but not in previous seasons. Dalton is just not clutch.
