BillnutinHouston Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 I guess, if you can't land Kelly, it doesn't hurt to speak to the guy that implemented his offense - if for no other reason than to educate yourself on possible offensive approaches with your personnel, or just to hear him evaluate your offensive talent.
Canadian Bills Fan Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 This is like the opposite of our last HC search... CBF
YoloinOhio Posted January 5, 2015 Author Posted January 5, 2015 (edited) I guess, if you can't land Kelly, it doesn't hurt to speak to the guy that implemented his offense - if for no other reason than to educate yourself on possible offensive approaches with your personnel, or just to hear him evaluate your offensive talent. I agree that, because of the particular timing of this coaching search for the Pegulas just buying the team and in a position to learn as much as possible, some of the meetings may indeed involve info gathering. When else do you have the opportunity to sit down with NFL coaches and have them lay out their game plans for your personnel? Edited January 5, 2015 by YoloinOhio
Not at the table Karlos Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 How was he as HC of the Browns?
YoloinOhio Posted January 5, 2015 Author Posted January 5, 2015 How was he as HC of the Browns?Really bad
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 And I just got finished saying that Charlie Weis would be the most depressing hire.
KD in CA Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 How was he as HC of the Browns? Does it matter? It's the Browns. Doesn't really tell you much other than he's probably learned a few lessons.
Lurker Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 We are interviewing everybody Speed interviewing...it's the latest thing!
TheFunPolice Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 well they are truly conducting an exhaustive search.... Whoever comes in starts with 8 wins in the bank due to this defense, so he needs to get 3-4 with the offense.

Hapless Bills Fan Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 MarkMaske @MarkMaske 13m13 minutes ago Eagles offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur has been granted permission to interview for the Bills' head coaching job. And you know, in a rare turn of events, I honestly don't know how I feel about this.
RayFinkle Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Does it matter? It's the Browns. Doesn't really tell you much other than he's probably learned a few lessons. You do realize that on the grand scale of things, we're worse than the Browns and marginally better than the Raiders.
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 You do realize that on the grand scale of things, we're worse than the Browns and marginally better than the Raiders. How so?
RayFinkle Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 How so? Don't get me wrong, I love this team and I think we are heading in the right direction under Pegula....but if you need a list of the reasons why the Bills are a national laughing stock, look no further than the last 15 years.

Oh, I know. But more of a laughing stock than the Browns?
norton20 Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 I pray it is not Pat Schurmur. He was an unmitigated disaster in Cleveland and would be the exact opposite of innovative.
GOBILLS78 Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 We are interviewing everybody Seriously. I'm lined up for 9 a.m. Wednesday.
