YoloinOhio Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 He must feel like he wishes he got drafted to any other team. First he plays the whole season hurt with below average QBs throwing him uncatchable passes on the regular He is asked about his injuries by the media, answers honestly, and is scolded by his head coach for talking about his injury His coaches/QBs fail to throw him the ball in big games despite being open and the team's #1 WR He is constantly compared to other rookie WRs who are getting more targets and playing with better QBs - and needs to somehow prove more than anyone else because he was the subject of a mega trade. He is 18 yards from 1000 on the season and they stop throwing to him in a meaningless game. Jerry Sullivan calls him out on Twitter because he said he was bored (while in Ft Myers) Then the head coach quits after his rookie season and claims the crux of the issue that led to him leaving was because of the trade that led to him being a Bill Let's hope things get better before he's a FA.

Winning is the absolute best deodorant. A new coach with a new scheme, provided he's offensive minded, will inject new life and energy into Sammy if he's down about any of this -- though I suspect he's much more business minded, meaning he doesn't take these things all that personally (being a superstar and under the microscope since he was a teenager probably helps build up some armor). But that's a complete guess.
Canadian Bills Fan Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 I would be happy that Marrone is gone if thats really how he felt CBF
Beef Jerky Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 He can go to a number of different teams that won't make the playoffs... So what are you talking about?
Solomon Grundy Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 If I'm Sammy Watkins I'd say "F.$! Coach Marrone! I'm glad he's gone"
Captain_Quint Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 I want to hear the new coach come in and say that he's gonna run Sammy until he pukes.
Lurker Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Highly motivated, I'm sure. I just hope there's a QB that can get him the ball...

Solomon Grundy Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Yolo, I'm wondering how Robert Woods, Kraig Urbik, Mike Williams and the rest of the team feel right about now. I know how Aaron Williams feel, but like to hear other players voice their opinions.

truth on hold Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 How about how does the bills organization and the fans feel about using 2 firsts and a fourth on a WR that may be 4th or 5th best in a deep WR draft, when the best one (beckham) could have been gotten for just our 2014 pick only?

I would think he is feeling pretty positive about the future as most of those gripes dissappeared the moment Marrone left.
FireChan Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 He's still the fourth overall pick, with a pretty sizable pay check. He can sulk about the media being big meanies while partying in his mansion.

FireChan Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 The Crusade of Ignorance continues! Can't wait til JTSP asserts that Jarvis Landry and Martavis Bryant should've been our choices because they remind him of Randy Moss, unlike Sammy who reminds him of Troy Polamalu.

Hey now, the fish fan who comes around during Miami week says Landy is going to the HOF.
Buftex Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 I want to hear the new coach come in and say that he's gonna run Sammy until he pukes. Is it possible Marrone saw to it that Sammy didn't break the 1,000 yard mark in that final game, just to make Whaley look bad?
