I saw him at Chipewa's Soho rooftop bar. Now just me, I go to see an entertainer and I don't think much of your act until you prove otherwise. So he steps out of the elevator, dressed like a pimp with a huge hat, arms crossed staring at the crowd for a full minute with gorgeous barely clothed young girls on each arm. I'm like "I love this guy already!"

A HUGE loss. RIP Lance

I have seen a ton of live music/acts. Including big time acts I can only think of 1 guy who commands the stage better and that is buddy guy. I know it sounds really extreme but the man was just magnetic on stage. People may casually and socially go to the elmwood lounge, Thursday in the square, or even a tent party at a Friday night bison game and get completely drawn in and enveloped by the show. Ive seen it happen a lot. That's how I was introduced to Lance Diamond.

The man was born to entertain people, albeit mostly in our little society here in wny. He did it so well. So often. For such a long period of time.

RIP
