YoloinOhio Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 @GaryParrishCBS: RT @SportsCenter: We are heartbroken to report that Stuart Scott has died after a long fight with cancer. He was 49.
Maury Ballstein Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 Brutal. Watching Hannah Storm break down into tears breaking the news. Rip Stu.
Corp000085 Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 I'm glad I wasn't watching SC today. RIP and Boo-Yeah!
The Poojer Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 Booya!!!! (that is a tribute to Stuart Scott, not a celebratory chant that he died) on a similar note, the person that prompted me to start a cancer thread a couple months ago died yesterday, 3 months ago he was 'healthy' F*** Cancer!
YoloinOhio Posted January 4, 2015 Author Posted January 4, 2015 He was super talented. So sad. Boo-ya!!!

EmotionallyUnstable Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 "As cool as the other side of the pillow..." "Boo yah!" Childhood favorites from him
thebandit27 Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 He was an innovator in the way he anchored, and a very good man by all accounts. He used to drive me nuts with some of his lingo, but I always respected his effort and attitude. You will be missed, Stewart. Travel well.
Gugny Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 Terribly sad. Now he can be as cool as the other side of the pillow in heaven. RIP. Booya!!!! Miyagi-Do Karate Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 Sad to hear this. Does anyone know if this was expected? For some reason, I thought he was in better shape with the cancer-- but I could be totally off.
Kirby Jackson Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 The ESPN piece on him this morning was fantastic. It's a sad situation and a ruthless disease. He opened a lot of doors and was a master at his craft. It's a sad day.

seq004 Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 When I hit my knees tonight it will be for you Stu. RIP.
White Linen Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 ESPN gave him a chance to express his unusual style and he proved the public would accept it. Great Job! I hope he knew the Lord.
Disinterested Observer Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 R.I.P. your voice will be missed.
